"why love him? he's a villain.' they'd say. a hero will sacrifice you for the world while the villain would sacrifice the world for you. that's why." -unknown

"Spencer please... don't" I picked my head up to look at the man I thought I knew. the man I thought I spent countless months to get to know and love. now he stands towering over my sobbing body with a gun at my forehead. "do it. she makes you so weak." Ben whispered to Spencer. the Spencer in front of me had been working with Ben, but Ben was only being my friend to analyze me and value my importance to Spencer. through glossy eyes I stared down the barrel of his gun. "please, it's me." he was in this bugged out state, his eyes were dark. emotionless. when I made eye contact something clicked in his brain. his eyes dilated the longer he looked at me. my wrists burned from the rope holding them behind my back. "what are you wait for just do-" I shut my eyes as the gunshot rang through the air.

a body hit the floor, but it wasn't mine. I opened my eyes to see Ben dead on the living room rug.   Spencer threw the gun on the couch and ran over to me. the feeling of relief wash over me as he unties my hands, "I'm so sorry, I'm so so sorry." he pulled me into a much needed hug.he then checked for any cuts or bruises. "I'm fine." I whispered. in less than a second I was pulled back into a hug. we both broke down in the others embrace, apologizing for things that weren't necessary. "I would never hurt you ok? I love you so much." he kissed my forehead while he previously pointed the gun at and murmured sweet nothings. after another long minute in the hug he walked me to be while calling another guard to clean the mess up.

the feeling of safety in his embrace as he guides me out of the room that now caused me so much pain. the feeling of security within his arms as he snuggles close to me in our warm bed. the tears falling down my face as that moment replays in my head. his comforting whispers and words of encouragement as an attempt to relax me. his lips tender kissing my temple. the overall feeling of happiness that I had Spencer to help me through this rough patch. overall thankful for him.

that night we decided to stay in a hotel so the guards could clean up the place while and we wouldn't get bothered by it. Spencer and I are driving to the hotel, drivers in front while Spencer and me are in the back. Spencer starts to fall asleep on my shoulder. so I am the one awake. when we get to the Ritz Carlton I tell Spencer to wake up. we get out of the car and Spencer gives me an unexpected hug and he says in my ear, "please promise you won't leave." I am confused but say, "I promise." when he finally lets go he holds my hand while walking inside.

when we make it up to our room I try and let go of Spencers hand. "you promised you wouldn't leave me Lilah." "Spencer I just have to get my coat from the car-" he says "have mine." he gives me his coat and I let go of his hand for a quick second. we walk back to the car to get my coat and head back to the room. when we get there 2 large men are standing in our hotel room. I ask, "Spencer who are these men." he turned to me with worry in his eyes. "Delilah, I love you but I have to let you and you can't come back. the thing is I owe these men and they have my mother and if I don't give them something then I don't get my mother back." tears build up in my eyes, in his too. "Spencer please no. you promised you wouldn't leave." and the 2 men come walking toward me and Spencer watches me scream for him while they take me away.
