Chapter 2: Roommates

Raeanna

"When I signed up for this flat I didn't want roommates too!" The tall brown haired girl asked.

"Your flat? I signed up first! For me and Rae!" Sammied argued.

These two have been arguing for the past 30 mins while Masie, girl #2, and I sat at the island and spun in the red chairs.

I finally rolled my eyes and stood up, "Okay enough!" The both looked at me shocked. "We'll share the apartment. Okay? There's two rooms with two beds in each obviously the person who we rented this from already has stuff ready for us so we'll spend time getting to know each other. I'll share a room with Maisie and you and...." I stared at her with a blank expression.

"Alexea," she said.

"You and Alexea will stay in the other," I looked at Sammie.

Sammie still looked pissed but she grabbed her bags and headed down the hall with Alexea following her. I looked at Maisie and smiled.

After two hours of unpacking and designing our room me and Maisie finally finished. I walked out of my room and realized the room looked exactly like the one in New Girls. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and noticed texts from my mom and Luke. I opened Luke's and smiled.

"Hey Gorgeous"

I laughed and responded

"Hey there"

"You up for a party tonight?"

"I have roommates I don't think they'd want to go."

"Ask them....I want you to come...please for me."

I laughed, "Hey guys! Wanna go to a party?"

They all yelled something that I'm going to take as a yes and started to type.

"What's the address?"

"So this Luke guy, he was really nice and sweet?!" Sammie yelled over the music that was pounding.

We pushed through the packed house as I looked left and right for Luke. Suddenly I heard someone question my name. I looked up and saw Luke.

I smiled, "Luke hey!"

The three guys gave us a questioning look.

"Luke do you know this chick?" The hippie looking one asked before looking at Alexea and frowning.

I gave Luke a questioning look as he got nervous, "No. I've never met her in my life." It took 8 words to make my heart sink in 8 seconds. It was like the conversations on the plane never mattered. "Lets go."

I frowned as they left and the girls asked me if I was okay. I gave them a fake smile and walked away. Pushing past the drunk girls and easy guys I made my way to the kitchen and grabbed myself a drink. I've known him for a day. Forget him you're in college now. Show the campus who Raeanna Danelle really is.

The last thing I remember was getting a body shot from a random football player.

Maisie

I walked into mine and Raeanna's room to her awake and confused.

She looked at me, "What happened last night? Ugh I have a major headache."

I laughed and walked over to her handing her medicine & a water. "Take these."

She took the pills and drank all of the water before looking up at me, "now what happened?"

I sat down at the end of my bed, "let's see you almost went to some random guys house who wanted a threesome, you went up to Luke and gave him a lap dance, and you took almost half your clothes off before we dragged you out."

She started laughing,"did I really do that?" I nodded smiling. "Oh jeez I probably just ruined my life at the university. Where are the other two?"

"Alexea is getting her books and food for the house, Sammie is watching Netflix, and I'm about to take care of the hungover girl from last night." I answered with a chuckle. She rolled her eyes before throwing her pillow at me. "Hey!" I laughed.

Suddenly we heard the front door shut and a person yell in the distance, "Raeanna Danelle you better be ready for class in a hour!"

Raeanna groaned and checked her phone. Her face went blank before walking out. I bit my lip before looking at her phone which had a text from Luke on it.

"Hey I'm sorry for last night but I have to admit I loved the lap dance. Maybe we can do it a little more privately with no clothes on next time?"
