Chapter 3: Run Ins + Jealousy

I walked onto campus and immediately noticed Luke walking towards me with his book & a bag from McDonald's. I sighed and start walking faster to the math department.

"Raeanna wait!" Luke yelled now jogging towards me. He stopped in front of me making me stop too. "Hey I was hoping we could talk."

I rolled my eyes, "Talk to the guy who was a complete asshole to me last night? I'll pass."

I started walking around him when he jumped in front of me again, "I just wanna say I'm sorry, My guys can't find out that I was nice you, it'll ruin my rep." He smiled a little, "I got you Mcca's"

I looked at the food and then at him, "You truly are pathetic."

I started walking towards class when he yelled, "Hopefully when we're in class you won't give me another lap dance!"

Bystanders laughed and I walked faster into Professor Haydens Math class. I sat in the the middle of the class and opened my notebook. I started writing what was on the board when a boy with brown hair and blue eyes sat on my right and Luke sat on my left. Yay...

The brunette turned at looked at me, "You don't happen to have a extra pen do you?" Holy shit he's hot. I nodded handing him my pen and pulling another one out of my bag. "Thank you, I'm Cameron Sterling."

"Raeanna Danelle," I smiled.

"So I was thinking, Raeanna, maybe after class we could go get a bite to eat?" He asked.

I could hear Luke scoff beside me making me roll my eyes, "I'd love to."

Just then Professor Hayden walked in and immediately telling everyone to be quiet and listen up. He started talking about this semesters work and that very few of us will make it when a note was pushed next to my left arm. I sighed and picked it up.

That guy's a tool, I wouldn't trust him.

I rolled eyes and wrote down

Why does it matter to you? I'm single and I absolutely want nothing to do with you likewise.

Once I handed it back to him I never got a response. After a hour of constantly writing down numbers it was finally time to leave. I stood up before Cameron and told him I'd meet him at Jamie's Italian. He smiled and nodded.

I left the classroom and took a cab to the restaurant. The waiter sat me down at a table next to the window and I asked before he left. I sat at the restaurant for at least two hours before getting up and leaving by myself. As I walked out I bumped into Luke who had a smirk on his face.

"Oh Miss. Danelle did someone stood you up? Guess Cameron doesn't like the easy ones," he joked while laughing.

I frown, "Fuck you Luke."

I started to walk away when he yelled,"All you have to do is call and I'm all yours sweetheart!"

I started walking faster until I finally reached the apartment. I walked in furious and humiliated. Not even the end of my first week and I already hated it.

I looked up and saw the girls on the couch. They looked up at me and opened their mouths to say something but I cut them off.

"Lets go shopping."

"Wait so Luke was there when you walked out of the restaurant?" Sammie asked confused.

Me and Sammie walked through the mall looking for decorations for the living room while Maisie and Alexea looked for furniture and decorations for our rooms.
