The Queens Request | Ganqing

Chapter 1

Teyvat. Destruction. Magma. Ash. 

What could have been done?

Why did this happen?

How could I have stopped this..?

"GANYU!!!" Ganyu felt her shoulder being shook by a wave of force. 

Ganyu shook herself out of her thoughts and gazed forward at the sight in front of her. "Yes, my queen?"

"Stop zoning out. Listen to me. I have something you need to do." The Queen of the heavens said, placing her heavenly staff back into her throne. This woman is named Ningguang, the god of the heavens.

"I-I'm sorry, your majesty.." Ganyu trembled and bowed.

"No need to be so formal. But I have a special request for you, as my greatest servant." Ningguang said in a very serious tone. "You know the state of Teyvat, one of the 86 worlds?"

"Yes.. I know.." Ganyu regained her posture. 'Teyvat? That world disappeared so long ago...'

"There is a way," Ningguang adjusted her staff, "To bring it back. And you are the only one who can do it."

"Wha..? Me? I'm just a normal angel among the people of this realm-"

"No. You are special. Come with me." Ningguang stood up, grabbed her staff, and gestured Ganyu to follow her. With no hesitation, Ganyu swayed her fear off of her mind and followed the woman ahead of her.

(After walking for around 14 minutes, Ningguang stops in place. She performs a spell. There was a loud rumble, and then a door appears. Upon opening it, the two come across a long, fancy corridor with a plenty ton of doors. Apparently, each door opens to a different realm, a different world.)

"I've never seen this before.." Ganyu took in the view around her.

"That's because you are the only person who's been here. Well, other than me, of course." Ningguang continues walking. "Hey, wait!" Ganyu matched her pace with Ningguang.

"There are 86 doors, each leading into their own realm, or world, as you may say." Ningguang explains, still walking. Ganyu listens to Ningguangs explanations. It felt nice to have her questions answered.

(Ningguang leads Ganyu to a door that is almost broken down, covered in ash and flame. Ningguang uses her staff to open the door.)

This, is Teyvat. The Teyvat that got blown up by that.. Ugh, demon. Maybe even that alchemist in Mondstadt who helped, but the demon did most of the work." With no response Ningguang walked to a door to the left. It was yellow, but it almost looked like an illusion. When Ganyu tried to touch the doorknob, her hand went right through it. "Huh?"

"This is old Teyvat, about 3 months before the world got destroyed. The reason you can't open it is because it can only be opened with heavenly magic." Ningguang picked up her staff, and had it  float next to her. The staff opened the door. A city, Ganyu guessed.

"Is this Liyue Harbor?" Ganyu asked steadily. "Yes, it's Liyue harbor. Now you must hurry, or else Teyvat will.. I think you already know."

"Wait, but I don't have enough infor-"

Before Ganyu knew it, a force pushed her through the door. she was now on the streets of Liyue Harbor.
