Chapter 11

—— Ganyu's POV

"You.. you what?" "Don't pretend you didn't hear me. I love you." I didn't know what to say.

"I love you too, Keqing." I finally say. Keqing snugly wraps her arms around me. When I show no reaction, she grasps tighter. "I just want you to know that no matter what happens, I'll always be.. here for you." I pat her back, smiling.

The fireworks end, so the sky is dark again. Keqing just sat in stillness, looking at me like I was the nicest thing that had ever been on earth. I guess we would have to talk on this more tomorrow. It's late, the crickets are chirping, the people left the roads and streets to settle for the night.. Keqing ended up falling asleep just then. I remember where she lives, but did she mention if anyone else lives with her? No, I don't think so. She's just gonna have to come to my dorm, if it's not destroyed.

I dropped Keqing off at my dorm, which luckily still remained in place. I couldn't locate Yoimiya, Amber, or even Sucrose, so I just hoped they were alright. I got another call from my separate phone. Is it Ningguang again? I picked up the phone.

"Hel—" "Ganyu, I didn't give you permission to leave, and neither did Hu Tao." Ningguang was talking so obnoxiously loud, I had to hold the phone away from my ear. "What do you want right now, Ningguang?" I chuckle awkwardly. "You know what you did. Come back." "And what if I don't want to? I could hang up right this second." No one ever defies Ningguang. It's not safe, and she's the Queen. "Excuse me? I asked you to come back. You do not have the authority to yell at me." Ningguang shouts back through the phone. ".." I realized what I had just said. "It seems I have no choice then." Ningguang sighed over the phone. "Wait wha-"

Ningguang appeared in front of me out of nowhere. She grabbed me by the collar of my shirt. "I told you not to defy me, and what do you do? The exact opposite." She dropped me down, but not very gently. I look up at her as she summons her portal again. "Now come with me before you regret your existence." She walked through the portal, in which this time I came along.

When I arrived in heaven, I was in the throne room. After gazing around my surroundings, I figured Ningguang was nowhere to be found. I heard faint chattering coming from the grand dining room in the hallway. It sounded like Ningguang and someone else. The other person had this distasteful, cackly-sounding laugh. They were talking about something funny, and I was not a part of that. I cautiously walked through the dark throne room to that hallway door and creaked the door open. 

"Ganyu? Didn't I tell you to stay in the throne room a couple of minutes ago?" "Hah, you must have really bad memory, Ningguang.." Cackled the other person. "Hu Tao? Is that you?" I asked. Was she the one with that scratchy laugh. "You see, Ganyu, ID number 189907 of the servants, me and your-majesty here have something to talk to you about." Hu Tao twirled her staff and lunged it over her shoulder.

"Ah- okay.." I mumble. Hu Tao smiles and drags me to the entrance of a room a couple of doors down. "Please enter the passcode." A robotic voice comes from the door. Hu Tao rolls her eyes and scans her fingerprint on the door, causing the door to creak open. It was a dark room, covered in red-velvet-ish colored rugs and banners, a wooden table seated in the center of the unfriendly room. "Take a seat." Hu Tao smiled. I blinked, and now Hu Tao was in the center of the room, meditating. I took a seat on the chair nearest the wall. Ningguang took a seat on the other side of the room. 

Hu Tao summoned a red orb, somewhat like my Cryo one. She closed her eyes. Was this some sort of top-secret fortune telling room? The red orb became clear.
