Barbie's POV

It was all explained now!

Sudden vacation, my parents' worry about Dunbar.

Everything made sense now.

I glanced at Ken.
His face was completely bloodless.

The look on his face would have made Medusa run away screaming.

"Umm....... Ken?" I called but he didn't show a reaction.

I glanced at others who seemed confused as well.

"Earth to Ken!" I yelled.

He quickly looked up at me and then at the others and slammed his fist at the table.

"How dare he?" Ken hissed angrily, "I swear if he tries to lay a finger on her one more time, he will wish for lifetime sentence."

I quickly caught up. Ken was angry at Dunbar.

"Don't worry. Miss. Z got you covered," Patricia said, "and ooh lala, you're a very overprotective for a future husband for Barbie."

I blushed so hard.

Seriously?

I sighed as I rolled my eyes at her.

"Anyways, we must find that damn secret before anyone else gets hurt," I said.

Everyone nodded in approval.

"Guys, I found something," Skipper declared as she came to us and put her tablet on the desk which showed some old paintings.

We looked curiously at the images.

"Nice work, Skipp. What are these?" I asked.

"This gem is an old gem which belongs to King Philip. You know, the king of Ireland who was a minister," Skipper explained.

I was shocked. I remembered that story. My grandfather told me of it when I was a child.
And I've read about it in history books.

"But what does this have to do with the secret?" Patricia asked glancing at me.

"I don't know. But I remember my grandfather telling me the story of it. Maybe we can find more clues at my grandfather's study," I replied, "it's in the basement."

So then we went back to my grandmother's house.

As we stepped in I heard someone calling me.

"Barbie, where have you been?"

I turned around and saw my mom.

"Oh...... Hi mom. We've been outside having fun," I said.

It wasn't a complete lie.

My mom shrugged but I could see that she didn't buy my excuse.

"Don't think you're off the hook, young lady," she rose an eyebrow.

I gulped.
I couldn't really tell her what happened.

"Barbie? Are you coming?" Teresa called.

I quickly ran off.

Then we headed to the basement.
I grabbed the key and unlocked the door.

After so many years I was in the basement.

The basement was not only my grandfather's study, but also it was a huge library with the collections of very old books.

"Wow, your grandfather was into....... books," Teresa said amazed.

I nodded in agreement. "My grandfather traveled a lot around the world and he loved reading and collecting books. This place hasn't been opened since grandpa's death."

"Okay, what are we looking for here?" Nikki asked.

I observed the place.

"First we're gonna look through history and old travelogues," I replied.

Then we began to go through books.
As I'd been searching through books I've heard Patricia calling us.

"Guys, over here. I've found something," she called.

We all rushed towards her who was sitting on a chair and put an old book on the oak table.

The book seemed very old, maybe it was around two hundred years old.

The title of the book was 'forgotten history'.

"What's this?" Ken asked.

"Here there's a lots of information about the young king of Ireland, Philip.
Information such as his birthday, birthplace, his childhood and his life as minister and king. In fact this book is Philip's diary but he wrote it for the future generations," Patricia explained as she flipped through pages.

"Oh look, and here's written a prediction. It's about the hidden legacy of Philip," Teresa said as she pointed to a page, "it's written that if anyone except the real wielder tries to steal the legacy is cursed to die."

I remembered my grandfather told me of the myth. But I didn't know it was a prediction.

"It also said the real wielder of the legacy is a strong and a fighter princess. She is the most fierce and the most beautiful princess. Her determination is as strong as mountains," Patricia read out loud.

Suddenly a small paper fell on the ground.

Renee picked it up.

"Guys look! This paper.......... it's a family tree," Renee exclaimed.

She quickly placed it on the table as we observed it.

"There's Philip Luke Roberts," Daisy said as she pointed to his name which was written in the paper.

"Then it's Adam Jason Roberts who is Philip's son," Patricia continued, "then it's Ronald Liam Roberts, Cyrus Chris Roberts and William Jeremy Roberts."

My eyes were widened as Patricia read my grandfather's name on the paper.

Patricia looked up at me shocked.

I quickly snatched the paper as I read the last name written on the paper.

Barbara Millicent Roberts.

A/N: Haha......... Cliffhanger.

So to clear it up what happened.

Barbie Roberts is the wielder of the secret legacy and she's the descendant of King Philip Luke Roberts.
