Suspicions

Barbie's POV

After I was released I went back home. My parents were still at work.

"Skipp, Stac, Chels! I'm home," I called.

"Awesome! You've never been home early!" Chelsea exclaimed.

I chuckled at that.

"But this time is different. I got some break from work so maybe we can go on a vacation," I explained.

Stacie gave me a suspicious glance. "Are you sure this is a rest from your spy work? Because last time we went on a vacation we didn't end up well!" Stacie pointed out.

I chuckled. "Point made. Don't worry. This time is for real."

"So where are we going?" Skipper asked excitedly

"I don't know. Maybe Willows Wisconsin.
I really missed grandma," I suggested.

My sisters now looked more excited.

Right then mom and dad came home.

"Mommy, daddy, Barbie got a break from her work. Now we can go on a vacation!" Chelsea exclaimed.

"Chels! We're not sure if mom and dad agree with this," I pointed out.

Mom and dad chuckled.
"In fact honey, we so agree! After all of these threats we need some rest," mom replied smiling.

Now I was excited.

"So where do you think is great to go?" dad asked.

"Willows Wisconsin!" My sisters exclaimed in union.

"This is amazing! So let's pack. Also invite your friends, Barbie," mom said.

I went inside my room.

Taffy barked excitedly. I picked her up.
"Hey Taffy! Are you excited? We're going to Willows Wisconsin!" I said.

Taffy barked in reply as she licked my cheek.

I chuckled as I remembered how I picked her name and how we all found that treasure.

I sat on my bed as I made a phone call with Nikki and Daisy.

"Hey Barbie, what's up?" Daisy asked.

"Guys, we are headed to a vacation. You guys have to come. It's gonna be fun!" I exclaimed.

"Wow, where?" Nikki asked.

"Willows Wisconsin, my hometown," I replied.

"OMG, are we gonna stay at your aunt's place?" Daisy exclaimed.

"We might check on her but we're staying at my grandma's house," I replied.

"Who else is coming?" Nikki asked.

" Well, except for me and my family, there are Renee, Teresa and Patricia and I'll see if Ken can come as well," I replied.

"Okay, see ya!" They replied.

I hung up.

I got up from my bed.

I went out of my home to meet up with Ken.

Ken was speaking with himself in front of a mirror. Huh weird!

"I wanted to tell you something that was in me since I met your deep blue ocean eyes," Ken began.

"Hi Ken! Who are you talking with?" I smiled.

Ken jumped out of his skin surprised.

"Umm.....B-barbie! H-hi......h-how are you?" he stuttered.

He was so sweet! I blushed red.

"Barbie, did you want to tell me something?" he asked.

"Ummm...... Y-yeah! My we are going on a vacation to Willows. A-are coming y-you?........ I meannnn are you coming?" I stuttered.
Greet! Now it was my turn to stutter!

Now I could guess my face was as red as a tomato.

"Yeah, sure thing," he smiled genuinely.

He then kissed me on cheek.
"I'm so happy to have you as my friend, Barbie," he said.

I nodded smiling dreamily.

I decided to leave before I said something embarrassing!

"O-okay, s-see ya," I stammered.

I walked away. My brain was screaming at me.

I heard some muffled snickers.

I rose an eyebrow.

"Patricia, I know you're there. Come out," I called.

I was right. She was hiding behind a tree.

She broke out laughing.

"OMG, that was hilarious," she laughed.

I glared at her.

"What's so funny? What are you doing here?" I asked.

"You wanna know what's funny? O-oh h-hi, Ken," she mimicked.

I was both embarrassed and angry.

"What are you talking about?" I asked trying to sound confused.

'Don't blush. Don't blush! Gah! DANG IT' I mentally scolded myself.

"Is the girl blushing?" Patricia teased.
"Shut up," I said playfully blushing even more.

She snickered at my situation.

"Anyway, what are you doing here? I mean you aren't here to just make fun of me because of some awkward situation," I asked.

Then I saw Patricia was at loss of words.

"Umm...... I was here to ask you that when we were gonna leave and start this vacation," she said shyly.

I gave her a suspicious look. I really wasn't convinced. But I decided to let it slide this one more time. I smiled.

"We're leaving in three days. The weather is now a bit cold so prepare some warm clothes, kit cat," I said teasingly.

"Got it. See ya," she said as she hugged me.

I hugged her back.

I walked toward my home. I entered.

My parents were talking about something.

"George, I am so worried! What if he finds us?" mom freaked out.

I suddenly felt sick to my stomach. I knew who she was talking about. She was talking about him. But why was my mom worried about Dunbar all of a sudden?

I was both curious and worried.
Last I eavesdropped I didn't end well.

"Margret, relax! We'll stop him," dad said reassuringly.

"Last time we tried that he almost killed Barbie! I can't let that happen again! He difinetly has a plan and he's well prepared. He literally has double_agents and associates everywhere which means Barbie is in big danger," my mom literally screamed.

I was frozen.
So that was why they were worried. He has a huge plan.

"Do you think we should tell Barbie about what's going on?" mom asked worriedly.

"I don't think so. Zoe asked us not to. She thinks it's best for her and her protection," dad replied.

I felt dizzy when I heard that.

Okay what was going on? First my friends were acting so weird, then Patricia was stalking me and now my parents and Aunt Zoe?

Now I was sure they were hiding something.

Was this really gonna be another mission.
I really hope not.

A/N: Barbie figured out that something was fishy. But what are his malicious plans this time? Why are the Roberts seemed to be afraid about it?
