Time to pack the bags

Barbie's POV

"Are you suggesting we steal from Sligo?" Teresa exclaimed.

Cassandra snorted.

"Every Friday Sligo goes to somewhere for his illegal businesses and returns with a huge sum of money. And every Monday morning he goes to his favorite club to meet up with his business partners and he doesn't return until night. That's our chance to strike," Cassandra explained.

Stella chuckled.
"That would be a great revenge for what he did to me!"

We all gave her a confused looks.

"What did he do?" Renee asked.

Sarah snorted. "I found her in an oil tank. It was so fun teasing her."

Stella rolled her eyes and glared at Sarah.

"So tomorrow is Monday. We have to steal the money. But how are we going to do that?" Patricia asked.

Cassandra nodded.
"He puts a those cash in a safe. I know the password to it. All we have to do is to help me get inside there. Then you can leave the rest to me. But for now we're having a problem. I lost my home. We can't return to the house Sligo bought me."

I sighed.
"And we can't go to my grandma's. Dunbar is after me and once I return there, hell would break loose. So I guess we'll have to stay in the camper until we find a way to get to Ireland."

"Where are we going to go once we get there? I mean do we have a place to stay?"  Sarah pointed out.

I sighed as I shook my head.

I sat down.

"We'll think of that later. For now we must be well rested if we want Sligo to pay for our expenses," Cassandra joked.

I chuckled.
"Should we really sleepy here.....in a car?" Stella exclaimed.

Sarah snorted.
"It's surely better than sleeping in an oil tank if you ask me," Sarah teased.

Stella huffed as she rolled her eyes.

"Speaking of it, you really need a shower after swimming in an oil tank," Patricia joked.

"Ugh! Whatever, where's the shower?" Stella asked.

I chuckled as I got up.

"Okay, chill! I really want to know what you would do if you end up with Dunbar? You surely won't like the experience," I chuckled, "Now let me show you the shower."

It was almost late and we were all ready to go to bed.

I was about to go to bed when I saw Cassandra outside looking at the sky.

I knew something was up so I decided to check on her.

"Hey.....you okay?" I asked as I walked up to her.

"Oh.....hey! Ummm yeah..... thanks," she replied.

I rose an eyebrow.

She sighed knowing I wasn't buying it.

"I'm confused about my family and everything. I'm scared that my real family wouldn't accept me," she began.

I was surprised. Did she know that her mother was...... Aunt Zoe?

"Cass, why wouldn't your parents accept you?" I asked shocked.

She sighed.
"Because my mother is this the best spy and leader while I am nothing like her."

So she knew!

"Cass, listen. You don't have to be just like your mom to be perfect and I am sure she agrees with my point as well. You are completely amazing. You saved my life countless times. Without you I were dead now," I said as I put my hand on her shoulder, "Without you it would've been impossible to get this close in solving the riddle of the singularity."
