As Monday rolled around you walked into the BAU with Aaron next to you. You two dropped Jack off at school before you were met with the empty office space and the dimly lit fluorescent lights. You, Aaron, and Strauss were the only ones in the office, she specified that this was a meeting for you three only.
You two walked into her office as you waited for her to enter and begin this whole ordeal. While you sat waiting, you noticed a couple of wrinkles in your skirt. You rubbed your hands over it over and over again trying to get them out. It was a matter that you were just extremely nervous and needed something to stress over that was not this meeting.
Aaron placed his hand on yours to try and get you to stop. "Y/n, it's going to be fine. There is no need to be stressed." It was like the whole situation had turned around. Saturday, you were the one comforting him, but now, now you were the panicked one.
As Strauss walked in, the two of you stood up to greet her and he walked behind her desk. In her hand was a manilla file as thick as a book. Gator clips and paper clips surrounded the outside of it like it was desperately trying to hold things in the file, and you couldn't even begin to imagine what was in there.
"With the two of your profiling and deductive skills, I assume you know why you are here right now." she paused, clearly agitated before she practically threw the file down on the desk in front of the two of you. "What the hell is this." she gestured to the folder before eyeing you two down to open it.
When you did open it, you thought you were going to be sick to your stomach
Inside the folder were pictures of you and Aaron anytime you were out together. Your fingers ran through it and they had everything. Each picture got continually worse. Photos of you leaving Aaron's house in his clothes as Emily picked you up. Photos through hotel window curtains of you and Aaron. Pictures of when you two had car sex. Photos of you two walking in Georgetown. Photos of Aaron punching your father in the face. There were at least 200 photos in the file. It documented every moment you and Aaron spent together, no matter how decent or indecent the time was.
At the button of the file though, a note in a handwriting that you knew all too well. You scanned and a few lines, in particular, jumped out at you.
"Do you really know what happens at the BAU?"
"A boss and his inferior, making sexual favors for each other"
Then written at the bottom of the letter, there was a sign that made you understand it all, "Don't bite the hand that feeds you because they'll bite back." you knew exactly who this was from.
Your heart started to beat faster as you realized what was happening. Flashbacks to the gala appeared in your head.
Oh, you didn't think we knew? We know all about your FBI life, your friends, the people you left us for. And of course, when you decided that you hated us for trying to give you an amazing life, you decided to sleep your way to the top. That is what you disowned your gracious family for? Never bite the hand that feeds you, y/n
All you could think about were your parents. You knew exactly what they had done. They hired a private investigator to follow you, get dirt on your hands, and then use it against you. And the fact that you had an 'arrangement' with your boss for a short period of time really aided that notion.
They had so much on you there was no way the BAU couldn't start an investigation. Your heart was racing as you tried to think of ways to save face in front of Strauss but there really was no way around it. You looked over at Aaron who was as shocked as you were and he knew as well where this was going to go.
"We can take this two ways" Strauss began to speak, "You entail everything that has happened between you two so we can sort this out before the investigation begins."
