but before reaching the cave we ran into

monsters.

he jumped infront of me, protecting me in the process "stay still girlie" (a/n- a genshin refference passing by~ i need childe and xiao-) "geez im not some damsel in distress!" i said as i instictly shoot at them dispite being scared to kill suck it up (y/n) we wont get strong from shivering in fear we fought them off and finally won against them "i guess your kind of cool in some way weirdo" i said looking away from him "damn the way you give compliments rlly does suck but thanks and call me oni-san instead " he said teasing me

i glared at him and aimed the bow at him "woah calm down im just kidding" He said pointing the arrow away, i 'hmphed' and went inside, the kids hugged me when we arrived inside "(y/n) nee-chan! your back! are you okay?" they said as i nodded at them "its time to eat now guys" guilda said, the kids 'yeyed' and ran to guilda, i looked at sonju and said "thanks for saving me.....oni-chan. " (a/n-wEe wOo wEe wOo iTs tHe fBi oPeN uP!) then i ran to the kids, sitting down and eating with them

"this girl really is a tsundere but ig that may be one of her annoying flaws" sonju said as he went to eat too, the next day we decided to go out since we were ready for survival now after training for supprisingly 5 days , we went out of the cave as thw kids cheered in happiness "these kids learn too fast huh." sonju said, sighing "what can you expect were premium quality fron the best farms arent we.?" i said to him slightly scaring him

"and you who is a cold stubborn girl with no brains at all, if i were to eat you id rather not since your brain wouldnt be that delicious in the first place" he said mocking me "oh yeah? if dont have brains then why would i be the one of top 4 premium quality in grace field" i said flexing on him " now your just pleasing yourself with lies" he said secretly smirking "im just loving myself and stating facts dear" i said smirking at him, he sighs and said "you win" i smiled and said "i always win" he rolled his eyes and said "yeah yeah"

arent they getting too close now? another rival already? i didnt know (y/n) would be into buff and big looking guys ray thought sighing, he started looking a the kids instead due to him being 'slightly' jealous, they started talking about the kids who dont even have names or language, will, etc. and musica (a/n-imma just call her musica from now on) replying and answering them as me and sonju talk about stuff

days after we went finally went out from the cave and moved outside the forest, sonju and musica guided us out, finally saying heir farewells, the kids cried saying theyll miss musica and stuff while i smile at them, sonju notices me smiling and he smirked, he walked towards me and said "oho (n/n) smiling? thats new" i tsked at him and said "got a problem? and where did you learn my nickname old man?" he chuckled and said" i just heard it from your sister and hey im not that old" he 'sarcastically pouts' laughing just after, i rolled my eyes and said "how annoying"

after a while the others started walking away "hey sonju why are you helping those kids? you dont usually do this." musica said to sonju "well we could always eat them once there free since theyre considered as 'wild'" sonju said smirking at musica "how about that girl?" musica asked, sonju looked at her and sigh " ill leave her alive i dont think shes that tasty anyways " musica looked away and muttered 'it doesnt look like that to me.'

we started to look for the correct coordinate, and then arrived at the spot, we looked around seeing nothing but sand "where is it supposed to be?" one of the kids asked "but its supposed to me here right emma? ray? (y/n)?" the kids kept asking us "yeah it is" emma said analizing the place, i looked at ray and he nodded "if theres demons around us then the place where mr. minerva is.."ray said as he looked at me to continue, i sighed and said "is at the place that is secured or secretive enough to keep the demons away" emma looked at us and said "mhm your right since theres nothing around us then it should be in the ground"

we nodded and started to find it and at last "guys! i think i found it" thoma and lannion called us, we walked over to them and analized the steal door, figuring out how to get in "there seems to be a passcode" guilda said looking at us "passcode..hmm" ray wondered as he tries to find the password, he looks at the pen mr. minerva gave us and tries to find the password there "there." i said pointing at the password "the passcode." i said looking at ray, he nods and tries it out, fortunatly we got in

once we entered the inside of the place, kids started roamming around "we'll guard them dont worry" guilda said, emma nods and suggested "ill come too" guilda agrees and they went to the kids, leaving me,ray and don here oi emma as much as i want to be surrounded by cut- ehem.. boys i dont wanna be alone with two people who tease me when they get the chance-  i silently sigh and said "move your asses you two we've got some exploring to do" ray scoffed and nodded while don smirked and said "aye captain" (a/n-ohhhhg who lives in a pineapple under the sea spongebo- )

we started walking around looking at our surroundings, i saw a door and started walking towards it as they followed "a monitoring room?"don said walking towards the cctv's "the camera's view is from the outside which means.."ray said as i continued "we can monitor the outside to make sure were safe without going outside to check" don looked at us and then looked away "damn if norman was here he would be delighted to use these " i said softening my gaze at the computers, imagining norman smiling as he used the computers

i looked at (y/n) as she softens her gaze and felt a sting in my heart what are these stupid feelings..my heart aches seeing her paying attention to someone else...it should be me that she should be softening her gaze at. ray. control yourself i cant let these feelings distract me.

i saw ray getting jealous at norman who's not even here right now, i smirked at him so he likes (y/n) huh.. well sorry but you might have to look around carefully cuz if you keep getting jealous of norman you'll forget that your rival here is here but damn this is gonna be hard if shes dense.
