The Colossal Canopy

You were still tangled in the vines cause Vex had left you there in the vines, but Sackboy arrives soon enough and spots you hanging in the vines.

"Hey bud! Can you help me get down?" You ask him, and he nods and rushes off to somewhere to get something to cut you down, he returns a few minutes later with scissors on the platform above you to cut you down. He cut you down and he helps you up to the best of his ability. You both come across Mama Monkey, who goes off on you two before realizing your there to stop Vex. She then tells you about the vex stealing their banana's but she has a task for the both of you, she asks you to rescue some of her baby monkeys. "I'm alright to help as long as we know where we can figure out how to stop Vex." You say in a calm voice.

You both make you way to where you need to rescue the baby monkeys, and start your mission Mama Monkey gave you, but little did you know Vex was carefully watching the pair of you, you more closely.

~Vex, third person pov~
"They truly are strange, and rather foolish, to be with that Sackling. Oh well I'll make them see the power of the Uproar.... This strange feeling again..." he quietly says to himself

He looks at you and he feels his face heat up. "What is this damned feeling?!" He thinks to himself. He quietly runs off trying to stay hidden.

~3rd person POV~
You look around in the trees cause you heard something but ignore it and continue with the baby monkeys. Sackboy asks you if we're alright in his silent way, "I'm alright bud, let's get back to helping these little guys."

You both get onto chasing down the banana bandit, but you get separated chasing the bandit. You encounter Vex again, and Sackboy encounters the banana bandit.

"Thought about that offer I gave you earlier?" He asks you in a calm yet playful tone. "I still won't help you." You say dryly. "Oh well that's unfortunate, I have a second throne I wanted to fill!" He says. You hide your face with your hand, hiding your red face, He was starting to get to you.

Vex laughs, "let me know if you reconsider!" He disappears and the obstacles in your way disappear as well allowing you to catch up to sack boy. You run to catch up to Sackboy to help him and to catch the banana bandit. You both take down the banana bandit and return back to Mama Monkey.

You both make your way to the temple to stop Vex but it seems he has other plans by separating the two of you. You get separated by a pitfall, "Go on! I'll catch up with you!" The trapdoor closes.

You fall for a while before you land in a something soft. "What the?" You look around and notice that you landed in Vex's gloved hands. "Couldn't have you dying on me, now could I?" Vex calmly states. You jump out of his hands and stand in front of him. "Where even am I?" You look around the room and see a large gap down to a lower ground area. "What in the name?" You say in a confused tone.

"You fell through one of my portals, your in the final room of this place!" Vex says with an enthusiastic tone. "Your friend should be here any moment now!" He picks you up by the back of your shirt and then brings you down to the beginning of the room, he goes back up to the platform you and him were previously standing on and he assumes position of taking the bananas.

Sackboy then shows up and hugs you for a brief moment before the fight begins. "Oh, here he comes. Craftworld's biggest spoilsport!" Vex points his vacuum-like arm at Sackboy. "Why are you trying to ruin everyone's fun?" Vex says in a rather annoyed tone as he leans forward standing on the edge.

Vex shows the rest of the sackfolk working on the Topsy turver which angers Sackboy a bit. "I'll leave you with another taste of the uproar and how it bends all creatures to my will." He bowed for the first half of the sentence and leaned his head back up for the second half of the sentence.

"But before I leave I'll be taking one more thing." He sneers before his arm into a vacuum again, before you both realize Vex had caught you. "Bye bye SpoilSport." Vex was holding you in his gloved hand as he steps through a portal with you. Just as Vex steps through the portal Mamapede comes out of the ground.

~Sackboy PoV~
Vex just took Y/n! I need to catch up to them and get Y/n back! But this enemy is going to prevent my advancements but I need to get past it to at least have a chance at getting to them.

~with you and Vex, 3rd person PoV~
You and Vex had arrived at Crablantis. "I'm assuming this place holds the next part of your plan?" You look towards Vex when you asked that question. "Of course it does! And it just so happens to be your friend's next stop to 'stopping' me."
