"Tomorrow's the festival! Are you excited min?"
Seungmin simply nodded his head. His head hanging low with his hands in his pockets as him and Hyunjin walked down the sidewalk together. Seungmin was having a hard time. Well, he's been having a hard time since he was born but, he's getting closer and closer to the edge everyday.
"Are you alright seungmin?"
Seungmin nodded, not daring to look at Hyunjin; only looking at his hands to communicate. Hyunjin stopped walking and lifted seungmin's head up.
"What's wrong? I know something is wrong."
Seungmin shook his head, "I'm just a little sad that's all. Don't worry," he smiled.
Hyunjin sighed as they continued to walk.
"Oh hey look! A convenience store! I'm going to get us some snacks okay? Do you want to come with me or stay outside?"
Seungmin sat on a bench, "I'll stay here."
Hyunjin smiled as he nodded his head, "I'll be right back!"
Seungmin sat on the bench with his hands in his lap, patiently waiting for Hyunjin.
Someone tapped on the brunette's shoulder, "Hey loser."
Seungmin looked up to see a familiar girl. He knew her from somewhere but he couldn't remember her name.
"Oh wait you can't hear me huh. Sucks for you."
Seungmin frowned and dug around in his pocket for a tiny notepad. He motioned the object towards her but she slapped it out of his hand, the paper crinkling as it hit the ground.
"All you ever did was sit there with that stupid look on your face and held around your notebook. You haven't changed at all," she picked Seungmin off the bench by his collar and help him close to her face, "You're a useless piece of shit."
She threw Seungmin to the ground; the boy grunting at the impact. He hesitantly reached for the notepad on the ground before the girl kicked it away.
"Don't you remember me Seungmin? We used to be friends."
Seungmin shook his head before the girl spat on him.
"Useless piece of shit."
The girl walked away from Seungmin, leaving the boy on the ground, dirty. He silently got back on the bench and continued to wait for Hyunjin in the store.
Why is he taking to long?
Seungmin peeped into the store to see Hyunjin paying.
Okay he's almost done.
Seungmin dusted off his close the best that he could do Hyunjin wouldn't find out what happened. He didn't want to worry Hyunjin even more.
"Minnie I got you some instant noodles and strawberries!"
Hyunjin stopped outside of the entrance; his smile fading, "are you okay?"
Seungmin warmly smiled, "I am okay. Don't worry."
"Okay," Hyunjin said to himself as they sat down at a table and ate the food Hyunjin bought them.
