In a world where there are many creatures except human, creatures like werewolves, vampires, demons, Etc, is it safe to walk at 1 am on an empty road, making a 20 mins trip to a grocery store? But Is Y/N standing outside the grocery store right now, all creeped out because the whole road is empty and there is literally no one and yet she is feeling someone staring right into her? Yes.
She can't in the grocery store for anyone or any Human to enter so that they can take her home or at least keep her in company because the cashier is a grumpy old man, well who won't be grumpy if they had to work a night shift instead of getting their beauty sleep?

Decided to stop standing and start walking, She started making her way towards her dorm which was 20 mins away, she should be okay right? What can possibly go wrong?

Her hands started shaking, goosebumps covering her whole body, fear in her eyes and her body literally stone cold, It felt like everything stopped when she heard a voice from behind.

Yeah she shouldn't turn and just keep walking because turning is the only thing that happens in movies, Specially Horror movies and it never has a good ending but what was she to do in this situation? Ignore the person so that they  can get mad and just rip her right now? Or just run away? Her mind was flooded with thoughts and she had no idea what she is doing, When she turned around , she kept her eyes closed because she possibly can't risk any creature or even a human standing in front of her, all she wanted to do was go to her dorm, go under the warm sheets and not wake up at all, School has been stressing the shit out of her and to be honest, Getting eaten up by a Demon is actually better than dying everyday In school, but when you actually are In a situation, your whole mind stops working and you have no control on your movements and emotions.

Eyes still closed, She struggled to open them, but she started opening them slowly and slowly, but when she did, To her surprise there was no one and this was literally a situation that would happen in horror movies, now if she turns behind then the creep would be behind her, her thoughts got interrupted when she felt a hand on her shoulders and she backed up with a gasp, Turning behind to see Tom standing.
Hands on her chest, she inhaled deeply-

“Thomas you fucking piece of a shit-” She whispered yelled at him, she didn't want to be loud and disturb any demon but she could care less, she is with Tom and she is very sure he won't let anything  happen to her.

“mind your language,human” He replied coldly.
His eyebrows furrowed deep and eyes getting darker red by every second, Anyone can easily tell he was mad, really really mad.

“okay sorry, by the way what happened to-” she got cut of by Tom grabbing her wrist and pulling her with him.

“ahh Tom what are you doing? It hurts-” she said because certainly it did hurt.

“shhhh” Tom replied, her speaking only made him angrier which resulted in him speeding up and griping on her tighter, They made their way towards Tom's house, He opened the door and then let them in and locked it behind him.

“Tom what's up with you today? ” Y/N said as soon as they were inside, Tom's grip left her wrist and she started rubbing it because he surely gripped it tight, not too tight to leave a bruise but just tight enough for it to burn.

“Y/N ARE YOU FUCKING CRAZY-? YOU HUMANS ARE SO FUCKING CRAZY,WHO THE FUCK GOES TO A WALK AT 1 AM IN THE MORNING??” He yelled.

Y/N never took being yelled at by easily so it's safe to say that there were tears welling up in her eyes.

“I-I didn't want to walk but I was hungry....i was studying so I forgot about dinner and there was nothing at home to eat so I had to come here since its the only shop which stays open 24/7,all the shops around the campus get closed by 8-”

“Y/N YOU FUCKING HAVE MY NUMBER? YOU COULD'VE JUST CALLED ME INSTEAD? DO YOU EVEN HAVE ANY IDEA THAT YOU GOING FOR SNACK THERE CAN BE RESULTED IN YOU BEING SOMEONE'S SNACK AT THIS TIME-” he snapped.

“DID I THOUGH? DID SOMEONE EAT ME UP? NO RIGHT? WHY ARE YOU EVEN YELLING IN THE FIRST PLACE? I'M A HUMAN AND I NEED FOOD FOR ENERGY JUST LIKE HOW YOU NEED BLOOD FOR FOOD-”

“DO YOU EVEN HAVE ANY IDEA WHY YOU ARE ALIVE? IT'S BECAUSE I REACHED THERE ON FUCKING TIME! IF NOT THEN YOU WOULD'VE BEEN SOMEONE'S FUCKING MEAL BY NOW, WHY ARE YOU SO STUPID Y/N!! YOU STUPID LITTLE THING-”

Yelling always brought some past memories to Y/N and she never took being yelled at easy and it turned out in her sobbing with her hands to her eyes, she didn't like anyone seeing her crying, it made her feel too vulnerable for her liking.

Her back pressed against the wall, and Tom standing right in front of her, and way too close.
She felt Tom's hands griping her wrist again but very gently this time and he took her hands in hers and brought her in a a hug, She accepted it of course, His arms snaked around her and he held her tight, playing with her soft hairs while she was crying on his shoulders, poor little thing was way too terrified, she honestly didn't have any idea what could happen and she was mostly at fault for this.

She pulled away, wiped her face off with her long sleeves, and then stared at him directly in his eyes.

“I'm sorry” he spoke softly, brushing her hairs off from her.
“I'm sorry for yelling,I-I was just way too out of control and I lost my temper because if I hadn't been there on time, there was this thing which liked your scent and that thing could've ripped you up, but I reached there before anything could've happen, please please don't go out there at this time again, there are so many creatures out specially at this time Y/N,what if I wouldn't be able to protect you next time? What if-”

“Hey shhh” He got cut off by Y/N's fingers on his lips.
“it's okay,I shouldn't have overreacted,I'm really sorry to go there at this time but I didn't call you because I didn't want to disturb you” Y/N spoke sadly, now playing with her fingers.

“you will never disturb me Y/N” He said, Sincerely.
“Okay, thank you” Y/N spoke and smiled.
“And don't talk about any what ifs now, they just creep me out,I don't know why you demons and creatures can't control yourself around people,damn it-” Y/N jokingly rolled her eyes.

“ya know we can't,your scent is too sweet for anyone's liking” Tom said as he leaned, way too close, she could feel his breath on her neck as he whispered in her ears.
“don't worry though,I'll protect you and make sure everyone knows you are my human, my little human.”
