Prologue (Start song)
Rain pounded on the car hood; it sounded as if instead of water, bullets were falling from the sky. Percy was trying to look out the window, past the rain, and block out his parents arguing, again. They never seem to get along anymore. He doesn't even know what started it this time. Then, through the thundering rain, he heard a sound, unlike the rest of the chaos. An enchanting sound. Percy thought he was losing his mind because he was utterly convinced that he heard words. Someone was singing, and somehow, they could be heard over the pouring rain. He heard the words:
My love, my love
My fearless love
I will not say goodbye
Sea may rise
Sky may fall
My love will never die
While he was so preoccupied with the magical singer, Percy didn't notice his father hitting his mother, making him miss a red light! There was a blinding flash, loud honking, distant screams, crashing and tumbling, things flying everywhere, but Percy could only focus on the distant voice of an angel.

Then the chaos stopped. And so did the voice. Percy finally came back to reality and saw what had happened. Their car was T-boned by a semi-truck. His mother and father were not moving, with huge gashes covering their faces. He was trapped but somehow unharmed. How? Questions one after another found their way into his mind. Am I dead? How could I be fine, and my parents look like Freddy Crouger used them as a scratching post? Are they dead? And at the end of his near-death question list was: Who was singing that angelically that time and space didn't matter to me?
I know it might not be the best, but I had so much fun writing it and can't wait to see what you guys think! This is Friday signing off for now! Stay Lucky! :D
