Musically Magical

Hey, there my readers! Friday here with another chapter! Now this one was supposed to be part of TALENTED but it was getting really long so I cut it in half. That does mean that this one will be shorter but don't worry, it is still awesome! Enjoy! BTW the picture is Percy and is not mine!

DISCLAIMER: I DON'T OWN ANY OF THE SONGS OR PJO OR THE ART (Though I wish)

(SONGS: I Wouldn't Mind by He Is We, Somewhere on a Beach by Dierks Bentley)

Percy had a free period and he went to the music room and played another melody. Music helps him make up his mind, no matter how much he didn't like playing in a public place. He went into an open sound booth and started playing. Little did he know that there was an angel in the other booth.

_POV change = Annabeth_

3 minutes earlier:

"Come on Beth! You know you have a free period and you can do homework at home," whined Piper.

"Yeah well, I have chores at home, and Aunt Elane doesn't want the chickens out after dark," argued Annabeth, but that wasn't the truth. Truth is, she wanted to find Percy again. His song just kept playing in her head, and she had a sneaking suspicion that it was about her.

"But I have this new song that I absolutely need you to sing to my track! So once again, PLEASE!" she begged. Annabeth rolled her eyes with a smile. Piper is always trying to write new songs to go with her tracks but she doesn't want to sing them herself. Something about how Annabeth makes them sound "magical". But Annabeth's powers don't work that way and she just thought Piper was too lazy to do it herself.

"Ug, fine." Annabeth looked at Piper. "I never had a choice did I?"

"No. No, you didn't," Piper agreed, and dragged her the rest of the way.

They entered the music room where Jason was waiting for them at the recording table. He crossed over to the girls.

"What took you so long! He- I mean the track has been warming up and is ready to play," panicked Jason.

"It's ok Jay. I got her here and that was the real challenge," Piper cooed. She fished out something from her bag and handed a crumpled piece of paper to Annabeth.

"What happened to this?" Annabeth asked, raising an eyebrow at the two.

"I had a fit and crumpled it up, but then thought it would be better if you sing it. So let's get you in the booth." Piper half-shoved-half-walked her to the second sound booth. Then, she turned and ran out of the room. Annabeth just rolled her eyes. As she was reading over the lyrics, a guitar started to play.

"Uh, guys I'm not done reading it yet!"

No answer.

"Ok fine. Be that way."

(I Wouldn't Mind - He Is We = Annabeth)

Annabeth angled the mic to her mouth and started singing.

Merrily we fall out of line, out of line.

I'd fall anywhere with you

I'm by your side.

Swinging in the rain

Humming melodies.

We're not going anywhere until we freeze.

Annabeth read the lyrics again. This doesn't seem like Piper's style. She never has done a song that was about loving feelings, but Annabeth sang on.
