Arabella's POV:Stepping onto the field, I took my seat between Allison and Lydia on the bleachers. Chris sat by his daughters side as my eyes scanned the field for my friends.
The whistle sounded just as my eyes locked with Stiles' sharing a nervous glace sat on the bench. I joined in the conversation with the girls either side of me in an attempt to disguse my nerves, my leg bouncing as I did so.
I heard clapping around me as Jackson scored, resulting in everyone rising to their feet, a very excited Lydia turning to us with a gleeful smile. "hey, help me hold up my sign?" the strawberry blonde asks before handing the left side to Allison.
I stood in the middle with my hand lazily gripping to the middle of the card as I watched Scott's face drop. I dipped my head to read the sign, no doubt about the captain.
'We luv u Jackson'. Ouch. That's gotta sting.
I could see Stiles anxiously bouncing in place before I turned to the girls. "Hey, I'll be back soon alright?" each of them nodded as I sent them a smile, descending down the bleachers.
Positioning myself on the bench, I placed a cautious hand on my freinds lower thigh, offering some comfort as twitching in his leg slowed to a stop. He glanced up at me.
"Hey he'll be okay, Scott's a tough one" I advised earning a small nod. "How did you- how do you control it?" Stiles asked in a hushed tone, leaning in to avoid anyone hearing. "The shift. You didn't change on the full moon and I haven't seen you out of control once-" he cut himself off waitng for my answer.
I offered an amused grin at his sudden curiosity, "well, part of being a hybrid means I'm not bound to the sun or moon, I can shift as I please really. As for control, I learnt a little at my old school, although it was mainly my parents who taught me to focus my anger else where."
"Claire!" our conversation cut short by the shout "What are you doing on the bench?" Coach quizzed from the sideline. "right now? just sat enjoying the game coach" I responded with false enthusiasm "front row seats and all" earning a muffled laugh from the boy beside me, my hand hadn't moved from his leg.
"You're lucky I like you" he grinned before turning his attention back to the field "cmon Greenberg seriously?!"
"Oh this is not good" I mumbled before turning to Stiles "Jackson wants the team to avoid Scott, they won't pass to him". I removed my hand placing it under my chin as I let out a deep exhale. Fuck.
Scott kept his head down, I knew he was beginning to lose it "cmon Scott, you can fight it okay?" I mumbled. "I know you can hear me, focus on my voice. That's it keep your breathing under control" I finished, his breathing grew heavier as actually managed to keep his compsure. Arabella 1- 0 lacrosse.
He was okay, that is until he turned his head to see a sign reading 'Jackson is #1' being held by two familiar girls in the stands. God damn it Lydia.
Scott darted across the field, scoring as everyone jumped to their feet. "Pass to McCall!" Coach shouted before leaning down beside me. "Did the opposing team just pass us the ball?" he asked in confusion.
"Yes I believe so Coach" I charmed, sending Stiles a subtle nod returning to my seat in the bleachers.
"Oh my god" I mumbled, "You can do it Scott" the Argent girl muttered, triggerimg his movement as he swung back his stick. He scored.
The crowd invaded the pitch with a series of cheers before Scott headed in another direction, making his way to the locker rooms I suppose.
His gloves disgarded on the ground as I caught a glimpse of Argent eyeing them cautiously. Without a second thought I picked up the gloves, giving the impression I was just collecting them for him as I walked over to the brunette boy with a buzz cut.
"Hey" I began as both Stilinksi's turned to face me. I turned to face the elder, holding out my hand as I did for all of my introductions. "I'm Arabella, its nice to finally meet you Sherriff" I smiled as the Sheriff mirrored my expression, accepting my handshake. "The pleasure is mine, its nice to finally put a face to the young woman my boy goes on about."
"DAD" Stiles interupted before the Sherriff could continue, a fierce blush rising on his cheeks before he composed himself- both myself and the Sherriff plastering the same amused grin. "Ah well I sure hope to live up to the expectations Sherriff"
"Please, call me Noah" he insisted before Stiles ushered me away towards the locker room, escaping the situation. I couldn't help but think, Stiles talked about me?, my stomach lined with butterflies as the thought passed.

"Oh my god" Stiles mouthed to me as we entered the locker room. The sight of Scott and Allison making out right in front of us wasn't ideal. "Stiles, Ari" she waved, putting emphasis on my name as she headed towards the door before we approached a smiley Scott near the showers.
"I kissed her" he grinned.
"We saw" Stiles retaliated.
"She kissed me"
"Saw that too" I mirrored the boy's astonished grin.
"Pretty good huh" Stiles continued. "I- I don't know how but I controlled it." He turned to me placing an hand on my arm before rubbing it slightly. "Thank you Ari. Really, I thought I was going to break before you spoke out to me" recieving a satisfied smile from me.
"Well uh, the medical examiner looked at the other half of the body we found. They determined the killer to be animal, not human. Derek's 'human' not animal."
"Derek's been let out of jail" I finished, piecing it together. "Are you kidding-"
"No, no, But heres the real kick in the ass, my dad ID'd the girl, both halves. Her name was Laura Hale."
Scott's face dropped as my eyes widened in alarm, "Hale?!" "His sister." I whispered, Stiles' nod confirming my suspicion. Oh Shit.
