Crowded in an office stood Hope, Allison, Arabella and the young guidence councillor, studying a photocopied page of the beastiary. Of course, Arabella had called her sister in for help with the translation, the language was ancient, their family had taught them broken pieces of it along with the alphabet. Although it rarely came in handy, despite perculiar moments like these of course.
"Do you think you can halp us figure out the last part?" Arabella asked the young dark skinned woman hopefully, gesturing towards the copy.
Together, Ari and Hope proved quite the team, translating the majority of the text, though one word threw the both of them off, it just didn't seem to make sense. They had considered calling their father or even Uncle Elijah for assistance, but considered the risk of repercussions too heavy if they were to discover what they were really up to. Allison insisted they turn to the councillor for help.
"I don't know. Can I hold on to it for a while?" The elder asked, scanning the extract completely, the girls could only hope she believed their lie about it's fictional nature.
"Now is better, please." Alliosn smiled, nodding.
"Um okay.." The woman sighed, concentrating, "seeks a..friend. The Kanima seeks a friend."
That sounds about right, the two sisters thought in sink, sharing a look.
"Like teenagers." Ally muttered under a breathe as the three thanked their helper, practically rushing out of the classroom.
"Like the wolf, the Kanima is a social creature but where the wolf seeks a pack, the Kanima seeks a friend." Hope reiterated, both to herself and the girls around her as she read over the paper once again. "God Belle this is like being back at Mystic Falls just without Mr. Saltzman's god awful dad jokes."
Ari nodded with a slight smile, reminiscing for a moment, taking the paper from her sister as the latter's phone buzzed.
Hope pulled the cell from her pocket, reading a message with a slight huff. Pursing her lips together, she looked between both Allison and Belle, "I gotta get back to the appartment, Aunt D said she needs to talk to us, I'll deal with her, you stay with your friends. I'm sure saving Lydia is more important."
With a nod and a short and sweet goodbye, the eldest tribrid left, just in time for the two brunette's to unite with none other than an arrogant jock, a strawberry blonde genius and a pale, well, Stiles.
"If we're doing a study group, why don't we just stay in the library?" Lydia asked, being absolutely oblivious to the danger she was now in. The five were speed walking down the corridor, attempting to get away from two particularly nasty teenage beta werewolves on their tail.
"Because we're meeting up with somebody else." Stiles answered, desperately hoping the girl would stop with the questions. By this point, Arabella had gravitated to Stiles' side, practically joined at the hip when they were together.
"Well why don't they just meet us in the library?"
"Great idea Lydia. Little late though, keep moving." Bella smiled, rather sarcastically as her tone reeked of urgency.
"Okay, hold on-"
"Lydia, shut up and walk." Jackson butted in, firmly gripping the girl's bicep as they walked in front of the group.
"Never thought I'd say this, but thank God for Jackson." Bella muttered almost under her breathe, earning a small grin from the boy beside her as they clambered into the infamous blue jeep.

"It still concerns me that you have your own key to Scott's house."
Arabella watched as Stiles practically bolted the door closed, using several different locks as he turned around, matching his gaze to a very concerned Lydia.
