Britney walks out of her room and into the living room (which was also the kitchen). Britney grabbed the TV remote from the coffee table and turned off the TV.
"Hey. What the fuck?" Jamie said looking at Britney.
"Look I'm sorry. But I need to tell you something." Britney said.
"Is this a joke because I watched Regular show with out you?" Jamie asked.
"No. But this is very serious." Britney said.
Jamie sat up and looked at Britney.
"I may have seen someone get killed." Britney said.
"What? And you didn't do anything?" Jamie said.
"Yeah, I did. I helped hide the body." Britney said. She was close to tears and Jamie knew it.
"What?!?! Are you fucking crazy? Why would you do something like that?" Jamie said, scared half to death.
"I had to the guy had a gun to my head and if I screamed then I would have been dead." Britney said. She shed a tear and wiped it away.
"Britney, I'm gonna have to call the cops." Jamie said about to cry.
"Jamie please don't". I could go to juvey." Britney said. She burst into tears as Jamie hugged her.
Both girls cried into each others arms. Jamie pulled away and grabbed the phone.
Jamie painfully called 911 and explained the situation. Britney continued to cry. Jamie hung up the phone and hugged Britney for one last time before the cops arrived.
"I'm sorry." Jamie whispered. She hugged her even tighter.
"Its okay. I understand why you did." Britney whispered back.
"I..I can't let them take you." Jamie said.
"Wh-what?" Britney said trying to wipe her tears.
"I-I'm gonna go. You will stay here and hide." Jamie said.
"N-no I I'll go. Its all my fault anyways."Britney said.
"Unless, we both go." Jamie said.
"No. We're gonna run away. Just until the cops stop looking for us." Britney said.
Britney ran into her room and packed the things she needed.
"Are you serious?" Jamie asked.
"Yes. We have to. Its our only escape out of this situation."Britney said.
"Alright. But we have to do it before the cops-" Jamie said getting cut off.
The cops had arrived and knocking at the door.
"Its the cops! Wow I sound like those people on TV." Britney said looking at Jamie.
"We're gonna have to get out the other way." Jamie said.
"The back door has a security lock on it. If I pick the lock the alarm will go off." Britney said.
"You don't have a key?" Jamie asked.
"My mom has it." Britney said.
The police knocked on the door again and asked if anyone was home.
Britney quickly grabbed her house keys and some hidden money.
"Come on, we'll get out through the window." Britney said.
Britney unlocked the window and pulled up to get it to open.
"Great. Just our luck. It wont open." Britney said turning to Jamie.
"What?" Jamie said trying to getting it to open.
Jamie walked into the kitchen and grabbed a hammer. She handed it to Britney to break it open.
Britney hit the window twice, but it wouldn't break.
Jamie ran and grabbed a crowbar and hit the window twice.
"Its working. Hit it again." Britney said.
"Hello. I know someones in there. Please answer the door." The police man said.
Jamie hit the window and the glass shattered onto the floor.
"Hold on we're gonna break the door." The police man said.
The cop hit the door with his body to knock it down.
"We have no time. Lets go." Jamie said.
Jamie grabbed her wallet and backpack and threw it out the window. Carefully she climbed out the window.
Britney threw her bag out the window and carefully climbed out the window.
"I'm loosing my grip." Britney said. She slid out the window and cut her leg on the broken glass.
"Ouch." Britney screamed letting out a few tears. Blood instantly drew out of her leg.
"Oh my god are you okay?" Jamie asked.
"Get. My jacket." Britney said, pointing to her bag.
Jamie unzipped the bag and grabbed a crappy old blue jacket. Britney took it and wrapped it around her leg so the blood would stay in her leg..
Jamie pulled Britney up and helped her to the bus stop.
"Where are we going?" Britney asked.
"Sacramento, California." Jamie said.
"Okay. sounds good." Britney said.
The bus arrived and both girls got on and payed for the ride.
They sat down and Britney instantly fell asleep.
"Don't worry Britney. everything will be alright from here." Jamie said whispering to Britney.
