Another Keprian from my dragon series, Flicker. I'm happy to say that the first chapter of the first Flicker book has been started! Anywho, ima take this opportunity to basically explain the clan.
So uh Keprians are one of the twelve tribes on the continent of Alvada, blah blah, their name means "sea" in some ancient language. They live in Kepria, which is basically just a big beach surrounding Flashtern Bay, where they also partially live. There is no underwater palace, only the above water one on the shore, but many Keprians do live in underwater houses. There are several small villages and markets along the beaches.
Keprians are usually named to something referencing water—a type of water related weather, an ocean animal, a shade of blue or green, etc. They can be many different colours but they're usually cool colours. Blue, green, gray, and purple are all common. Their eyes can be any colour. They communicate underwater using a language of whistles and clicks like dolphins, and have the ability to use echolocation if they must. They can breathe underwater and sustain huge amounts of water pressure. They can smell underwater the same way sharks do. They are also able to see in fairly low light, but mostly they rely on their echolocation when it's too dark to see.
Keprians are fully designed for swimming. They have long, flexible bodies to cut through the water. They have many fins all over their body. These fins can be found on their head, the back of their neck, their chest, their forearms, the top of their tail, and the bottom of their tail. They also have huge caudal fins at the end of their tails, which they lash when swimming to huge extra speed.
They have few natural weapons, but the ones they do have are powerful. They have extremely sharp teeth and claws, sharper than most clans, and blades on each wing to slash and stab at their opponents. They are also very swift and flexible, with long limbs and generally powerful muscles.
