As she whirled back into the conscious present, she heard sounds of fighting. The other clans found them.
She watched as Tygren, in a flash of gold, began fighting the Ardoni who were using ranged attacks on the upper side of the mountain. Not much time...
Her eyes glowed as the temperature in the cubicle she in began to increase. Desperate to free herself before the portal drained all of her energy again, she struggled to push against the obsidian blocks making up the walls of her small prison. With what little energy she had left, she created a small fireball between her hands and let it get bigger before she let it implode, destroying her obsidian cage and surprising the Ardoni outside. She tried to suppress it, but the memory of her first discovering she could do that by accidentally blowing up a lake she was in with Ingressus and Achillean pushed itself to the forefront of her mind. That was the last piece the portal needed to open.
She saw the two figures fighting. She saw herself restrained nearby and Ingressus give the order. She saw herself go unconscious and Achillean get pushed off the cliff. Ingressus walked through the portal, leaving behind his songs, and stepped onto the snow, eyeing the Ardoni now surrounding them. He drew his sword and Voltar, then all she saw was black.
