Chapter 11

Kenzie's POV:

I was standing in front of Edmund's door, nervous about what is about to happen. I slowly knocked on the door. I heard a "Come in" and opened the door to see Ed sitting on his bed. He looked up at me.

"Hey Ed, Can we talk?" I asked, walking over and sitting beside him.

"Sure, I've been looking for you everywhere," he said.

"Sorry I kinda freaked out about what happened earlier and I just want to recollect what I did."

He looked at me, "Mickey, you know I have feelings for you. I just didn't know how to tell you."

"Susan and Lucy told me about you always talking about me and how you have feelings for me."

"Those two-"

"Ed, I like you. I mean like like you." I looked at his chocolate brown eyes and smiled.

"Mickey, I like like you too." he then leaned a little closer so our lips were just barely touching.

"Could we try this again?" he asked, I nodded. He then pulled me closer and the gap between us was filled. It was a sweet moment and I loved every second. I put my arms around his neck and he put his arms around my waist. We then pulled away looking at each other. I smiled.

"So, I'm guessing we're officially a couple now," Edmund chuckled.

I laughed, "Well, you didn't really ask me."

He rolled his eyes, "Ok, Mackenzie Olivia Locke, will you make me the happiest man in Narnia and be my girlfriend."

"Yes, I will be your girlfriend, Edmund Pevensie." I giggled a little. "I think we should go help Lucy and Susan get ready for their departure." I got up and held out my hand. Edmund took my hand. We walked to the exit of the How to see Lucy, Susan, and Caspian getting a horse set up for them. They saw us walk in hand in hand. Susan and Lucy looked at each other then ran over to us.

"Oh my god! You are officially together finally." Susan said.

"That means I won my bet!!" Lucy shouted.

Edmund and I looked at each other then back at Lucy, "What bet?" we both asked.

"Opps, Susan, Peter and I made a bet a while back on when you two would be together. I said during our stay in Narnia while Peter said at the end and Susan said when we get back to England."

Great, they really bet on how long it would take Edmund and I to confess our feelings to each other.

I looked at Edmund and he was already looking at me. He smiled and wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him and kissed the top of my head. Lucy and Susan giggled then walked back over to their horse. Edmund and I followed. I helped Lucy onto the horse.

"Destier has always served me well. You are in good hands." Caspian told them.

"Or hooves." Lucy giggled.

He smiled and looked up at Susan, "Good luck,"

"Thanks,"

Caspian pulls out a horn from his pocket, "Maybe it's time you have this back."

"Why don't you hold onto it? You might need to call me again."

I could help myself but giggle into Ed's side. I could see Caspain's face turn into a bright red. Lucy and Susan were off to find Aslan.

"You might need to call me again?" I heard Lucy asked.

"Oh, Shut up."

I couldn't help but laugh and Ed chuckled lightly watching me dying of laughter. I walked over to Caspian and put my hand on his shoulder, "I think she fancies you."

He pushed my hand off his shoulder, "Oh, shut up Max. Come on we have a battle to fight."

He walked off and Edmund and I were left in the cave. "Come on Eddie, let's go support Peter." he grabbed my hand and we walked to watch Peter against Miraz.
