It was finally travel day for the boys of Grace Field, all had planned a road trip of a few days for both boys and girls but each one was going to a different country, concerning the boys they wanted to go on a trip originally but the idea of traveling through a country came only later, thanks to Lanni and Tom. Having chosen France as a destination, Tommy and Chris were trying to find the best places and while going through the maps, Tom came across a city with an original name considering the context, as the city was named... Lannion. He had run to him to show him the coincidence, to which the blond boy had replied that he absolutely wanted to visit this city (at least to take a picture in front of the city sign). They had all loaded their luggage, they were ready to sleep in any type of hotel even if it was more likely that they all slept together in the different cars that the Ratri clan had affiliated to them. As for the girls, they had made the choice to go to Italy, so they could all be in the same place at the time of departure.
They had made their way to the airport in joy, good mood and song. Everyone was eager to get on the plane, obviously some were nervous about flying like Rossi or Nat, but everyone was eager to take a vacation... Their first real vacation, they had been living in the same place for years. The separation had been very moving between boys and girls, for the first time since the beginning of their lives, some of them were going to be separated like Ray and Anna, Don and Gilda or Tom and Nina... They all had this apprehension but it was quickly dispelled when they got on the plane, and then it was the wait for the take-off, which had to last for fifteen minutes already.
Ros: Why it doesn't take off... There must be a problem...
Nat: A p-problem?!
Ray: Stop panicking for nothing you two, it's completely normal.
Tom: That's right, you're overreacting.
Dom: Tom you're shaking...
Tom: N-No...
Dom: Yes.
Chr: Yes.
Ray: Yes.
Ros: Yes.
The pilot: Yes.
Tom: Yes.
Chr: Huh?
Tom: Nothing! No, I'm just thinking about Nina, I'm not reassured, I'm afraid that something will happen to her?
Chris and Dominic had hugged him by the neck, reassuring him and saying that both Nina and everyone else will be safe and sound. And soon after, it was take-off... The acceleration had nailed them to their seats and when the metal bird had split the skies with their grace, everyone was stunned... They were flying! It was no longer an unattainable dream or something they found in their Grace Field House books, They were flying, strangely enough Nat and Rossi were the most enthusiastic, the pressure must have died down and they were the first to travel from one window to the other to discover the view their brothers had.
The flight had been calm and in the middle of the afternoon after three hours of flying, they had arrived in Rennes, and they were on their way to the first stage of their journey: Lannion! They were going there, to discover a little bit the particularities of the city that bears the name of their brother. And there they were, Lannion posed in front of the sign of... Lannion, Thoma had obviously accompanied him but the two boys had asked Tommy to come on the picture to his great surprise, justifying their request by the fact that thanks to his discovery, they had had the idea of this fabulous trip through France. Tom did not hesitate for a second and posed in front of the sign with his brothers.
The city itself was classic, but everyone was ecstatic about the slightest unusual thing, logical when you consider that they saw the same thing for 11 years for the older ones. They had spent the evening strolling around the city and eating in a restaurant, they had all had Brittany specialties, be it cider, buckwheat pancakes or of course the famous Breton pancakes. Then after their digestive stroll, they had taken the road to a hotel where they were going to spend the night before going to their next destination (and not the least): The Mont St-Michel!
