The Carnival

"I'm starving, can we eat first?" Seri whines behind me, I was getting hungry too. But me eating first doesn't usually turn out great before rides. I'll eat something small.

"I am as well, oh my gosh Jungkook I wonder if Sungsoo is still selling his homemade baked goods! I could go for one of his pretzels right now." I squealed turning to look at my roommate, he pulled his phone out, "I'll text Joshua," he says. I clap in excitement.

"You seem so happy over food," Wonwoo chuckled at me. We both sat down at a nearby table, while Seri and DK continued to walk on. "Sungsoo, why does that sound familiar."

"You probably know him as Seungcheol's uncle."

"You mean Coup?" He asks and I nod, "Yeah S.Coups. His uncle makes some awesome food, I can't eat a lot before going on those rides, I'll get sick."

"I'm sorry," he frowned, I wave my hands, "No worries, I'll just pig out later," I laugh out.

"Good news! Sungsoo is set up at the pirate ship ride," Jungkook says and I quickly stand up excitedly, so ready to grab me some food. I walk to one of the guide stands and take a map from the shelf.

"According to this map, the pirate ship is down this way," I said pointing down the left path. "Let's go then," Woo said walking ahead of me, he looks back at me and sends me a wink. My legs felt like jello from there on, it was like walking on a water bed around him. He made me feel so week today and I absolutely hated it.

"What's the matter, love. You getting that Wonwoo disease?" Jungkook teases

I elbow Jungkook in the rib and start walking, making sure I wasn't going to get caught with my jelly legs. But obviously, I failed, cause Vernon chuckled as he walked by me asking if I was okay. I just gave myself an encouraging smile and hurried on down the path towards the pirate ship. I knew I was going to need a drink after today, and I mean an actual drink.

"Hurry up Jamie, there it is!" Wonwoo hollered pointing towards Mr. Sungsoo's bakery stand, when he looked over at us as we neared his booth, he immediately smiled and waved.

"Hey kids!" He says excitedly, I giggle at him as I watch him flip some dough around. "We're not kids anymore Mr. Sungsoo."

"Oh you are to me, what can I get you guys today? Josh! Your friends are here!" He hollered towards the van, the tall slim guy we all know comes stumbling out of the van, making us all laugh at him.

"What's up guys," he grins giving all the guys hugs and hand slaps, with knuckle bumps, I don't even know, a guy thing I'm assuming. "Yo, what are you guys doing here?"

"To experience the carnival duh," Woo says sarcastically, I just roll my eyes.

"Joshua, I want a pretzel stick with some cheese dip," I tell him as I begin to pull out my wallet.

"I also want a pretzel with cheese Josh, and add two drinks of water to that," Wonwoo says as he hands Joshua a twenty-dollar bill. I was about to protest but quickly shut down, if he wants to pay for my food then I'll let him.

"You didn't have to."

"I know," he grins, taking the waters from the other male. He hands me one and continues, "But, since you don't seem like you want to kill me today." I roll my eyes and chuckle. "I figured I'd take advantage and treat you like this is a date."

"So not a date."

"But it can be?" He smirks before kissing my cheek, my face immediately turned a wild cherry. Wonwoo walks to DK and they head towards a water dunk booth. Where you throw certain items at the target and if you can dunk the person sitting on a stool, you'll get a prize. Seems easy huh? Nope, you have to hit the target really hard in order for it works.

It was sunny out but partially cloudy, it wasn't too hot either. I want to at least try and surf before the weekend is over.

( Do you surf? )

Well, the two men successfully dunked the poor guy and both of them walked over with stuffed animals. DK handed Seri a polar bear, and Woo winked at me as he placed a lamb in front of me. "For you my lady." I take it slowly and smiled, "Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you're starting to like me now." He continued.

I roll my eyes and walk away, only for him to whistle as I went further down the road towards the bumper cars. Was I starting to like him? Yes. Will I regret it? Possibly. I just want to have fun right now.

"Honestly, I applaud you for keeping your composure. If I was in your position, I would have done boned him," Jungkook says walking up beside me, I elbow him and give him a hush.

"Better watch out, Yugs might hear you," I say and he only shrugs while his boyfriend caught up to us, intertwining their hands.

"Doesn't matter, he was thinking it too. Tell her that we were just talking about how well behaved she's been."

"It's true, babe. I'm surprised you guys haven't made out yet," Yugyeom admits and I groan.

"It's not like I don't want to, it's just, we have things to push aside."

"Jamie, what he did in high school is way in the past. Get over it and let the man fuck you," Jungkook huffs out and I poke his side, making him scrunch his nose up in pain. Asshole. If it really was that easy to forget, I would be a much more positive person than what I am now. My mind always goes to negative thoughts and I expect the worse out of people, because that is just how I am.

I absolutely could not deny the fact that I was extremely excited for those bumper cars. As I neared the booth, I noticed how long the line was. I guess I wasn't the only one looking forward to this specific ride, I didn't mind the wait though. My friends piled up behind me, while Wonwoo pushed pass them all to stand directly behind me, his hands brushing pass my booty ever so often.

"How long has it been since you've rode these?" Wonwoo asked me and I shrugged beginning to think, "I guess the last time was when I were in elementary school." I replied. He raised his eyebrows in shock.

"That's what happens when you get fat and can't fit into rides anymore, and you have to be one of those losers who is left at a table with a teacher who also can't fit or has some sort of health situation while drinking a slushie," I ranted on and on, until I noticed the look he was giving me and quickly shut my mouth.

"Was it really like that?" I nodded at his question, he spun me around and gave me a back hug. "Was I actually mean to you?"

"Only half of the time, you didn't acknowledge me on other days," I replied with a frown. He kissed my head and sighed, "But it's okay, you're going to make up for it by riding those cars with me." He chuckles and let's go of me.

"Don't expect me to go easy on you, I'll hit hard."

"Hmmm, then I won't hold back either," I grinned dragging him to the bumper cars.
