VALERIE STUART IS THE SISTER OF MARY STUART. The two sisters both grew up in the covenant together, since they could not attend normal school like other children because of their status. When It came time for the girls to be sent off to court, Valerie was forced to go as well. She had spent her whole life in her sisters shadow, and now she would be forced to keep doing so in the court in France. She would have to watch as her sister became queen of their country, and while she married a future king. Valerie was used to watching from the sidelines, of not being noticed, so It didn't bother her as much anymore. She was always the more looked down on sister, the one more likely go get into trouble, the more manipulative one of the pair. Truth be told, her and her sister were complete opposites. But when Valerie joins her sister in French court, she finds that the Dauphin will get his pick between the two sisters. When Valerie finds herself having to choose between both the bastard son of the king and the future king, and potentially losing her sister in the process, what will she do?

-Please remember that this story is not based on ONE love interest. She has TWO, which means that It is a love triangle.
-I know that Nina Dobrev is extremely overused in this community, but I felt that she portrayed this part the best, so I will be using her. If you have a problem with that, feel free to click off of this plot because this face claim will NOT be changed.
-Valerie is sort of a confident, and flirty, manipulative character. She actually is pretty similar to Katherine Pierce in that way, which is not on purpose I assure you. I always create my characters before I pick my face claims.
-She's spent so long in her sister's shadow, that when she arrives to court and finds out that she has a chance to get out of the shadows and into the spotlight, she struggles with the adjustment once men start to notice her. When she arrives, she feels herself equally drawn to both Bash and Francis. It makes It difficult when she falls for them both, and is finally forced to choose between the two.
-Mary and Valerie's relationship is significantly strained throughout the story. They constantly lie to each other and fight, but almost always come through for each other in the end.
