He's jealous?? Of Kokichi?? But, he sees me as a friend? What is going on? It's only been what, a month? Two? What do I say to him? Does he know that it sounds like he likes me? Does he? What do I do what the hell is going on

Gonta : "U-uhm... is Y/N okay...?"

Y/N : "HUH- Oh- Uhm."

Gonta : "So? Does Y/N know why Gonta is like this?"

Y/N : "Well... that's called being jealous, and most people feel jealous of someone when they want be like them? I don't really know how to explain it..."

Gonta : "Jell-us? But Gonta doesn't want to be like Kokichi!"

Y/N : "Well, you felt jealous when I complimented him, right? Well, that means you want me- to compliment- you-?"

Gonta : "Huh... maybe? ...Oh! Try complimenting Gonta then!"

Y/N : "Oh.. uhm... I get embarrassed saying those kind of things..."

Gonta : "Oh right! No want to spoil Gonta!"

Y/N : "Yeah so-"

Gonta : "So Gonta can compliment Y/N instead!"

Y/N : "I-I don't think that would help-"

Gonta : "So Gonta think that Y/N is nice, and helpful, and (pretty/handsome/whatever you'd like)!"

Y/N : "(pretty/handsome/whatever you'd like)!? Haha... I don't know about that!"

Gonta : "But Gonta knows! Plus, Gonta feels better now! So Gonta is going to go talk to other friends. Bye bye, best friend!"

He got up, dusted himself off and walked outside of the garden. Best friends? All of that and he still sees me as his friend, huh... Why does that hurt though? I also see him as a friend. It's only been what, 2 months or so here? There's no way I'd crush on someone that fast. The fact that I love the way his eyes light up when I asked about the bugs that land here is something everyone feels. So what if I find myself talking and reading more about bugs? It's normal! Maybe the way he talks is adorable but I like it in a friend way- The feeling of wanting to stay inside all day if I ever embarrassed myself in front of him is just my anxiety kicking in-

Well- Now that I put it all together- Wow that was inhumanly fast- That's almost as fast as that fanfic on Pattwad that I read...

*Y/N thought about how they got a crush on Gonta so fast as the author time skips shamelessly*

Everything seemed pretty normal today, besides Kokichi's pranks. Speaking of Kokichi, he seemed pretty bummed out that he didn't get away. I wonder what he's doing now... I hope he realized that we're all trapped here together, and if he ruins this place then he's just throwing himself under the bus as well! Later, we all met up at the cafeteria again. To get out of here, we decided that everyone will come here every morning to prevent anybody with bad intentions in our group being alone.

(I keep reading my own sentence over and over again and it doesn't make sense but we're gonna go along with it)

Shuichi : "So everybody is here, right? If that is the case, we can begin the meeting."

Y/N : "Yep, let's get started."

Everyone stood around the table, except for Kokichi, he slouched and rested his face in his arms, I'm guessing he didn't want to talk after cleaning up the garden. Suggestions on how we were going to leave this place were low. Some just gave up and admitted they're fine staying at the school. I guess we have to stay here a bit longer, I actually didn't care too much about that. But I'm hoping we don't have to stay here for... well, forever.

Gonta : "Well what are friends supposed to do while they're stuck?"

Angie : "We all pray to Atua, of course!"

Himiko : "Nyeh? Atua?"

Kokichi : "*Yawn* Oh...! it's that weird cult she's part of!"

Tsumugi : "Maybe you guys can look through some of my outfits!"

Tenko : "Ooh! I'm sure you'd look really good in them, Tsumugi!"

Kokichi : "I don't feel like listening to all your references, you're the only one who knows them..."

Kirumi : " *Sigh* Ouma, must you drag everyone's suggestion down?"

Kokichi : "It's not my  fault everyone's ideas are so boring!"

Shuichi waited to see if everyone had anything else to say, and finally said,

Shuichi : "I guess after every meeting, we can have some sort of free time?"

Kiibo : "This is a smart idea. We can all do whatever we please without including anyone who wouldn't want to partake. If, of course, they want to."

Everybody went their separate ways, Shuichi, Kaede and Kiibo went to the Pianist Lab together, Tenko and Himiko went to the kitchen with Kirumi to prepare a meal, Korekiyo and Gonta left to hunt insects and other living creatures, and a huge number of people left to do their own thing by themselves.

Now it was just me. By myself.
