Chapter 8

"MPD! Hands behind your head!" A policeman shouted as the whole MPD came in the base, their guns pointing at [Y/n] and Kentaro who didn't listen, just stared at them with widened eyes and their eyebrows furrowed.

"Shit..." [Y/n] hissed and was about to run away until the captain, Kageyama, and the sergeant, Taishiro, tased [Y/n] and Kentaro, both of them falling down on the ground, screaming in pain.

"[L/n] [Y/n], Shiro Kentaro, you are under arrest!" Kageyama said sternly, stomping towards them and was about to cuff them until he got shot on his shoulder.

"Heichou!" Young-hee called out and was about to run towards him but was stopped. She thought it was Taishiro but when she looked , it wasn't. It was a mafia member. Young-hee yelped when the mafia member pinned her to their chest and pointed their gun at her head.

"Sorry we're late. These nasty police officers attacked us on the way here." Renjiro said, going inside the base with all the mafia members following behind. "Step away from them, cap." He demanded, pointing his gun at Kageyama.

"How about you stay away from the captain, Kanemoto." MPD's chief of police, Sasaki Namiyo, demanded, pointing his gun at Renjiro. The mafia boss scowled and glared at him.

"I'll stay away from him if he stays away from my daughter." Renjiro said sternly, his finger about to push the trigger.

Namiyo clicked his tongue and walked towards Kageyama, putting his arm around his shoulder and backed away, his gun still pointing at Renjiro.

Renjiro did the same and got [Y/n] and Kentaro out of the tasers. "Where is Sakamoto Miyo?" He asked. "He's in jail. He knew you and your stupid mafia family were coming so he came to MPD and let himself be jailed and told us where his secret base is." Namiyo explained.

"Tch, you really are improving, eh?" Renjiro chuckled bitterly. "Of course we are. We did promise ourselves we'll kill the whole mafia and end the misery Miyagi is suffering. So why not end this now?" Namiyo said and smirked mischievously at Renjiro.

Without wasting any time, Namiyo began shooting towards the mafia, them shooting back.

Meanwhile, Young-hee kicked the mafia member by the foot, making them loosen their grip and grunt. Young-hee turned around and kicked them in the stomach, shooting them in the head.

Taishiro pulled out a walkie-talkie while shooting and spoke to someone before putting it away. Out of nowhere, the SWAT team began coming in, shooting at the mafia.

Renjiro's eyes widened and cursed under his breath. He began rummaging through his pockets, pulling out an explosive grenade. "Take cover!" He warned the mafia before pulling the pin and throwing it in the middle of the room.

Everyone hid, some got crushed and some got burned by the fire. [Y/n], who was behind a rock, groaned, looking around, seeing the whole base was destroyed and a large hole was on the ceiling, revealing the train station.

[Y/n] saw Kageyama, who was on the other side, beginning to stand up, followed by the other police officers and the SWAT team. Kageyama locked eyes with [Y/n] before turning to shoot at the other mafia members.

[Y/n] raised an eyebrow, confused on why Kageyama didn't shoot her but brushed it off and began shooting the police officers.

"This is war, Kanemoto! We're ending this!" Namiyo shouted through the other side. "Let's see if you can!" Renjiro shouted back, pulling out a M16 rifle and started shooting and laughing like crazy.

Hirano Rei, a mafia member, noticed the tanzanites in Kageyama's pockets. "Kanemoto~sama!" She called out, catching Renjiro's attention as she pointed at the captain.

Renjiro turned to look and his eyes widened. "[Y/n]!" He called out to his daughter. [Y/n] knew why he called for her and instantly ran towards Kageyama.

Kageyama noticed her and looked at her in shock. He looked hesitant, whether he should shoot her or not. "Kageyama! What are you doing?! Shoot her!" Namiyo yelled, catching Kageyama's attention. His hand was shaking and decided to point his gun towards her, but as he was about to shoot, [Y/n] dodged it at a fast speed and snuck up behind Kageyama, tackling him down on the ground.

The others were busy shooting at each other while [Y/n] and Kageyama were busy fighting each other. [Y/n] pinned both of Kageyama's wrists together and went to grab the tanzanites but Kageyama managed to get out of her grip and kicked [Y/n] in the stomach, getting her off of him.

[Y/n] grunted and pulled out her gun and began shooting at Kageyama while he dodged it and went to go hide. Just as [Y/n] was about to go to his hiding spot, she got hit in the head by Young-hee.

[Y/n] grunted and glared at the girl and began shooting at her. Young-hee dodge some bullets and shoot back at [Y/n] who dodged them as well. [Y/n] growled in annoyance and kicked Young-hee's legs, making her fall, wasting no time and pinned her to the ground, choking her (not in a kinky way).

Young-hee yelped, trying to inhale some air but no avail. Kageyama peeked through his hiding spot and saw the situation. "Young-hee!" He called out and was about to run to her but got tackled by Kentaro.

Kageyama grunted and tried getting Kentaro off of him but Kentaro had pinned him down, kicking Kageyama's gun off of his hand and trying to get the tanzanites. When Kentaro got them, someone shot his wrist making him drop the tanzanites as they scattered all over the floor. Kentaro screamed in pain but still kept his grip on Kageyama, refusing to let go of him.

[Y/n] noticed this and lifted Young-hee by neck, slamming her head on the ground hard, making her unconscious as she went to go run towards the tanzanites but got stopped by Taishiro.

Taishiro pinned her to the ground but [Y/n] managed to pull her pocket knife out and stabbed Taishiro on the shoulder. He groaned in pain and [Y/n] quickly kicked him off and pinned him on the ground, hitting him in the head with her gun plenty of times.

"Hirayama!" Kageyama called out and gritted his teeth. With anger, he pushed Kentaro off of him, throwing him into a wall and ran towards [Y/n], tackling her off of Taishiro.

Kageyama didn't bother to shoot her so instead he tried knocking her out, but it never worked. [Y/n] growled and punched Kageyama away. She then jumped and kicked Kageyama hard in the head, making him fall on the ground with a grunt.

[Y/n] took a chance to run towards the tanzanites and take them, until a grenade was thrown close to her. Her eyes widened and was about to run away but someone shot her leg.

Kageyama opened his eyes just in time, seeing that the chief shot [Y/n]. His eyes widened realizing how close [Y/n] was to the grenade.

"NO!" He screamed and went to run towards [Y/n] but it was too late. The grenade exploded, Kageyama was flown back a little but [Y/n], since she was close, got flown back all the way to the wall, her head hitting it hard, the wall cracking and the tiles and rocks above fell on top of her.

Everything was muffled in [Y/n]'s ears. She heard her comrades calling out her name. But there was one unfamiliar one that she couldn't quite know. [Y/n] tried opening her eyes but it was all black. But then she saw a light, showing familiar faces. She felt herself getting picked up, feeling herself going up and down. This person carrying must've been running. And after that, she didn't hear anything and everything went black.
