"Are you sure it'll be alright?" [Y/n] asked, fiddling with her fingers as she and Kageyama drove their way to the MPD. "I'm sure. Just relax okay?" Kageyama reassured her, patting her shoulder.

They both got to MPD and they got out of the car. [Y/n] took a deep breath before she and Kageyama entered the department.

"Welcome back, hei-" Young-hee greeted, but her eyes widened when she saw [Y/n]. "A mafia member!" Young-hee called out, catching everyone's attention as they all pulled out their guns and pointed it at [Y/n], who sweated nervously.

"H-Hey. [L/n] here..." [Y/n] awkwardly said with a nervous chuckle as she raised her hands up in defense. (Y'all get the reference?)

"Kageyama, what the heck is she doing here?!" Taishiro asked, glaring at [Y/n]. "What is happening here?" The chief questioned, coming out of the office to check out what was happening.

The chief's eyes widened and pulled out his gun as well. "Why is she here?!" He asked, his finger ready to hit the trigger.

"Relax, please! Put your guns down!" Kageyama demanded. "Why?! She's from the mafia!" Young-hee questioned, gritting her teeth. "Just please. Let me explain!" Kageyama said.

"Hah?! You two dated?!" One of the police officers questioned, their face scrunched up, earning a nod from Kageyama.

"Tch. About time you got your memories back. Kageyama won't quit mumbling about you." Taishiro muttered, scratching his nape. Kageyama glared at him as [Y/n] chuckled sheepishly. "Sorry about the head by the way..." She said quietly. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever." Taishiro huffed.

"How do you know she's not setting up a trap?" Young-hee asked, glaring at [Y/n]. "I've known her for years, Young-hee. She's usually cheerful, nice and shy but when she got amnesia she became all hot headed, serious and badass. Plus, you can tell by the looks of her face that she's telling the truth." Kageyama explained.

"Kageyama's right, Young-hee. I've known [L/n] ever since she joined the MPD." Taishiro said, leaning against the wall.

Young-hee narrowed her eyes at [L/n]. "I still don't trust her." She mumbled, crossing her arms to her chest.

"I-It's okay if you don't trust me. I just want to say I'm sorry. What I did was wrong. Very wrong. And I regret it. I regret it all. But I do want to help you defeat the mafia, especially my fa- no...my boss. Please, let me help you." [Y/n] pleaded.

Silence filled in the whole room. Everyone's gaze turned to the chief, who was narrowing his eyes at [Y/n], seeing nothing but honesty in her eyes.

Namiyo sighed and walked towards [Y/n], making her flinch as she shut her eyes, not being able to look him in the eyes. Suddenly, she felt a hand on her shoulder, startling her.

"I guess I trust you enough to hire you here." Namiyo said, making everyone's eyes widened. "What?! You're kidding right?!" One of the policemen questioned.

"No. I can tell all of what [L/n] said is full of truth. Though, I don't fully trust you. Just a little, but I will hire you. I'm sure you'll be a great police officer." Namiyo said, giving [Y/n] a smile.

"Thank you, sir. I promise, I won't betray you all." [Y/n] said with a close-eyed smile.

[Y/n] sighed as she walked towards the room where the jail cells were with Kageyama following behind her.

Kageyama noticed her tense up and fiddled with her fingers, so he put a hand on her shoulder, startling her a little. "Hey, you did the right thing." He reassured her.

[Y/n] sighed and hung her head low. "I know. But I can't help but feel bad for Shiro..." She mumbled. "Why?" Kageyama asked. "He's always been like a little brother to me. He's always there to comfort me and always stays by my side. I can't help but feel guilty betraying him..." [Y/n] explained.

Kageyama didn't know what to reply, so instead he kept quiet and kept walking.

Soon enough, they reached the iron door. Kageyama opened it and they both entered, walking towards the cell Kentaro was in.

Kentaro noticed their presence and glared at them, but his eyes widened when he saw [Y/n].

"[L/n]~san! Help me!" Kentaro begged, trying to reach out for [Y/n]'s hand but she backed away, shaking her head. Kentaro's eyes widened, feeling betrayed and hurt. "[L/n]~san...no..." He called out quietly.

[Y/n] looked at him with sad eyes. "I'm sorry, Shiro. But it's the right thing to do." She said. "You can't do this! [L/n]~san please!" Kentaro pleaded, but [Y/n] only gave him the look of guilt before walking away, leaving the room. She ignored the calls she got from Kentaro, biting her lip to stop the tears that were about to fall.

Kageyama followed behind her, pulling her into a hug because he knew she needed it. [Y/n] gripped on Kageyama's jacket, letting her tears fall as she covered her face into his chest while Kageyama drew little circles on her back.

"Hey. It's okay. You did the right thing." Kageyama whispered to her, kissing her head. They both stayed like that for a few minutes, Kageyama comforting her.

Soon enough, [Y/n] pulled away and wiped her tears with Kageyama helping.

"Hey, Tobio?" [Y/n] called out as Kageyama hummed in response. "I have a plan on how we can stop the mafia."
