A sound of shoes squeaking and balls landing on the ground with a thud were heard from the outside of the court.

"Nice receive!" A volleyball player exclaimed.

"Kageyama! Toss to me!" A tangerine haired boy exclaimed and ran towards the net, ready to jump.

A certain raven haired boy, Kageyama Tobio, nodded and tossed the ball towards the tangerine boy with him spiking it over the net.

"Woohoo!" He cheered, jumping up in victory. "What'd you think of my spike?" The tangerine boy asked Kageyama who just shrugged in reply.

"Hah?! Just a shrug?! Geez never knew you were bad at complimenting..." The tangerine boy mumbled the last part but Kageyama heard him.

"Oi, Hinata boke! What did you just say?!" Kageyama yelled, an irk appearing on his forehead.

The tangerine boy, Hinata Shoyo, jumped and started running around the court with Kageyama chasing him.

"Oi, you two! Stop that!" The volleyball captain, Daichi Sawamura, scolded the two, hitting them on the back of their heads.

"S-Sorry..." The two first years mumbled as they rubbed the back of their heads. A silver haired setter, Sugawara Koushi, chuckled and walked towards them.

"Kageyama, could you please refill the water bottles?" Sugawara ordered, handing Kageyama the team's water bottles. Kageyama nodded and grabbed them before jogging outside the court towards the drinking fountain.

But on his way there he bumped into someone, making him drop the water bottles.

"Sorry!" Kageyama apologized and bowed 90 degrees towards the person.

"No way..." The person whispered, making Kageyama confused. He looked up, only to make his eyes wide when he saw who it was.

"[Y/n]..." Kageyama said under his breath.

[L/n] [Y/n], the person who he bumped into, was standing in front of him, tears of happiness in her eyes.

"Tobio..." [Y/n] called out, a smile forming on her face. Kageyama was too in shock to notice the tears forming in his eyes and smiled back at her.

The lovers reunite once again
