Just so you know, his is a totally different thing and is not related to the Frederick Chase/Conner Whatever-his-name-was thing! Okay, so I don't think anybody has done this before. I am also a twin, so this is very painful to write and 'Maya Goldberg' is based off of me. I would totally be the crazy person to start hysterically laughing when some annoying jock made a dumb comment! I hope you guys like it!
Matthew Chase:
My name is Matthew Chase and I have dirty blonde hair and grassy green eyes. I am in eleventh grade with my twin brother Bobby. I am a total nerd, and I don't mind admitting it. Bobby, on the other hand, is the most popular boy in our grade.
Bobby and I are identical, yet we act nothing alike. I take after my half-sister Annabeth, I suppose. Bobby stopped valuing his education in seventh grade, instead focusing on sports and girlfriends. Once he became captain of the football team, he couldn't be friends with a loser nobody. Now, my popular brother isn't leaving me alone, he has started bullying me instead.
I had greek class next and tried to learn the language as best as I could. Annabeth had told me that she was a demigod when she came back home when she was fourteen, and we had grown really close in that time. Apparently, monsters started following her home again, so mom and dad blamed her. She ran away again and I have been forbidden from even trying to contact her.
I walked up to my locker and grabbed my greek textbooks and closed my locker. When I turned around, a mirror of myself was staring evilly at me. He pinned my arms against the locker and smirked, "How is your girlfriend, loser?" He teased. "Oh right, I forgot you didn't have one!"
"Hey, Bobby. Why would you ever think I had a girlfriend? We share a room, you would know!" I rolled my eyes and pretended that my brother's words didn't hurt me. I mean, I am seventeen, I should be able to take a little teasing, right?
"Shut up, nerd!" He slammed his fist against the locker right next to my head. I flinched slightly as he walked away laughing with his team of jocks.
"Class, I'd like you all to give a warm welcome to Maya Goldberg!" Mr. Brunner started once everybody had taken a seat in class. (Annabeth had asked him to watch over her brothers even though they weren't keeping contact.) He wheeled aside and a girl walked in. She had gray eyes rimmed with a faint green, flowing brown hair that was woven into a quick braid, and a dot of freckles on her nose.
A few of the popular guys wolf-whistled at her, but she obviously was one of those girls who went around kissing any boy she could get her hands on. In fact, she seemed to be the opposite with her comfortable looking ripped jeans, faded orange t-shirt, and 76ers cap.
"Have a seat wherever you would like." Mr. Brunner invited and smiled at her in a fatherly manner. Maya walked up and took the empty seat in front of me. She stole a quick smile at me before taking out her notebook and starting to stare at the blank pages. "Okay, class, make sure you take notes! Today, we will be learning about the Greek goddess Athena."
I made sure to write down everything he said because I wanted to know everything I could about my sister's godly mother. Whenever I glanced up from my notebook I saw the players glancing flirtatiously towards Maya, who didn't seem to notice.
Towards the end of class, I noticed that Maya hadn't taken a single note and had been doodling instead. "What did you draw?" I asked curiously, I wasn't one to snitch, but I liked to know things.
"Well... it is a camp. There in the center is a giant metal dragon that was once rouge. These are all cabins. Here is the campfire where people eat smores and sing songs. And here is the beach where a certain couple is known for sneaking off to! This over there is..." She pointed to each feature as she described it. I liked that she didn't try to hide her creativity.

FanfictionHave fun watching these chaotic mortal and demigod interactions (it is extremely cliche and dramatic)! Most of the couples are with the person they were with in the books. I was thinking about it, and Theyna and Solangelo are two of my favorite ship...
