Hidden Love ~ Bakudeku

[Flashback]

Towards the end of the academic year, Izuku and Katsuki have gotten closer than before. The hot headed alpha would be much more tame around him, and the mocking was put to a stop.

Izuku also became less flustered around him and felt comfortable with him.

The two became best friends again after Katsuki apologized for his past, and told Izuku he deeply regretted it. The omega of course forgave him, since he would do absolutely anything to be his friend again.

Thus, their friendship was reborn again.

During the beginning of summer, the two would meet up often. Whether it was simply going for walks, or going to the beach, the two always tried to spend as much time together as they could.

Although one problem arose for the alpha - and that was his lingering feelings that grow stronger every minute he saw the greenette.

He knew he was being selfish, but he came to terms with it and realised that he was bullying him all this time because of this ache in his chest.

He used to blame Izuku for his own problems, and bullied him to simply get the stress out, and he knew it was a horrible thing to do.

Now that he has come to terms with his feelings, he would get Izuku to trust him again, and deepen their relationship.

Katsuki wasn't planning on confessing soon, but one question from Izuku made him burst out all his emotions he was holding in all these years.

It was June 16th, around midday, the two boys decided to go to the beach to cool off.

They sat on two towels, under the blue umbrella Katsuki set up. They had simple conversations, like if they started their holiday homework Aizawa set, or if they planned on meeting the others, until there was a small period of silence, which was later put to a halt when Izuku popped a sensitive question.

He has been acting a little quiet, so Katsuki would assume his question would be related to why he seemed off. What was the question you may ask? Well, Izuku simply asked;

"Kachan, when we are older, you're probably going to find yourself a mate. You'll love her and cherish her and want to spend all your time with her, but will that make us drift apart again? I don't want us to drift again, please." With teary eyes.

This shot a hole through Katsuki's heart. This whole time, Izuku was thinking about losing Katsuki again because he didn't understand what he was to the alpha. It drove the alpha to confess.

"Izuku, I know I've been fucking horrible to you in the past, but let me explain. Izuku, this entire time, I've bullied you and made you feel horrible because of my own shitty  problems. I blamed you for my own fault of catching feelings. I never knew until recently because I've been so fucking stubborn about it and so set on me trying to be better than you, and I've never felt more horrible in my life because of the guilt I feel for bullying you. I never should told you to take a dive off the roof, because if you did, I'd never forgive myself. Izuku, I like you. I really fucking do. If you don't, it's okay, I'll completely disregard it but don't let it ruin our friendship."

And with that, the omega ran into Katsuki's arms. Tears in his eyes, he sobbed onto Katsuki's chest, hugging him tightly.

"I already forgave you for what you did, I knew that deep inside you are a good person. Kachan, I like you too. I always did, and I always will." He said, crying into Katsuki's chest.
