"(Y/n) please come with me!" F/n) pouted as she tried dragging (y/n) to the the school gym.
"I don't want to go!" (Y/n) cried, struggling to get out of her friend's tight grasp.
Today was Valentine's Day, a really lovely holiday. It just happened to be a holiday that (y/n) didn't like so much. She didn't have a problem in the past with Valentine's Day, it's just that she wasn't really into that lovey dovey stuff.
It was the day of the Valentine's Day dance, and (y/n) was actually excited earlier today to go. Until she got a text while her and (f/n) were right in front of the school saying that (c/n) was going from her other friend. Let's say he was (y/n)'s biggest crush ever. She always tried to avoid him when he was near, but admired him from afar. She was too nervous to talk to him, despite how many times he tried talking to her - which always ended up with her running to the bathroom or outside.
"Oh please! Just because he is going?" Groaned (f/n).
"Yes actually." (y/n) said, fixing the skirt of her (f/c) dress.
"You should go." (f/n) sighed.
"I want you to go inside." (y/n) said.
"Wait, what?"
"Yeah, go ahead. Maybe I'll go in later."
"Are you sure?" (F/n) asked.
"Yup. Don't keep your boyfriend waiting!" (Y/n) teased.
"He's not my boyfriend! Not yet at least... " She laughed.
"I'll see you soon."
"Don't stay out too long." (f/n) said as she walked in the gym. (Y/n) could hear the music through the doors.
"Kay." she whispered as she walked past the lockers. Her dress was so long, it draped over floor elegantly. However, it was so long, she could trip. It happened earlier in the house. The heels were difficult to walk in with that dress.
She walked to the door and as she pushed it open, somebody much stronger pulled it open, causing (y/n) to fall forward. Someone let out a grunt, and then hit the floor. (y/n)'s eyes were closed the whole time.
"You're really light." an all too familiar voice chuckled. Her eyes shot open.
"(C/N)! I'm so sorry!" (Y/n), getting off of him and helping him up.
"Don't sweat it (y/n)." He smiled, making her heart skip a beat.
"Wanna go into the dance?" He offered, outstretching his arm.
"Um....I don't dance."
"What?"
"I really don't." she blushed as the sun set and the stars were visible.
"Let's dance!" (C/n) said, grabbing her hand and being pulled back by her not moving.
"I don't want people to see me dance."(y/n) mumbled.
(C/n) smiled.
"Dance with me here then. The stars are shining bright, we can hear the music, and I'm with you. Lets dance." he said, pulling her body close to his.
They started dancing gracefully as the music played through an open window in the gym.
