I went back to my room once we got home to change into something more comfortable. However, I brushed by something that made me scream. Yes, that disgusting eight-legged thing.
The door swung open, exposing Hoseok, who seemed too anxious about hearing a scream from my room. From the corner of my eye, I saw him shutting the door slowly and approaching me as he inquired as to why on earth I had just yelled. As he followed my eyes, he discovered the solution to everything and screamed as it moved slightly.
We were both on my bed now, trying to figure out how to get out of the room.
"Why the hell isn't anybody looking for us?" he grumbled.
"How will I find out?"
We were both watching every move the thing made. It's clear that the thing was having a good time tormenting us like that.
We ended up screaming when the door opened with a loud crack, causing the thing to creep a little closer to us. Jimin stood there, perplexed by what was going on in the room. He believed he was the one who terrified us, but it was something else.
"Jimin, don't you freaking move!" We both yelled.
"Eh, why?" He carefully peeked behind the door, expecting to see anything like a monster, but saw nothing and closed the door with a crash, intensifying our cry.
When he saw the giant spider moving towards him, he exclaimed, "What the hell? "
"How come you people didn't tell me this earlier?" While joining us on the bed, he scowled at both of us.
"I thought you were a courageous heart, but you have just proven me wrong," I grumbled at him.
"It seems like we're trapped here forever," Hoseok muttered, laying back on the cushion.
"Yes, it's only that... I wasn't expecting that creature to creep towards me. So I wasn't there, you know." He chuckled awkwardly.
"Jimin is a scaredy-cat," I said, smirking.
“Well then, what the heck are you?" he said.
"For just a day, can I... guys please stop that?" Hoseok separated us and sat between us, staring at each other.
"Then I'll prove it to you." Jimin rose from his bed, taking a big breath.
“I'll be there.”
He made baby steps towards the door, opened it carefully, and motioned for us to follow him. I pushed Hobi, signaling him to go first, and sat on my bed, watching him move towards Jimin. And he was a success.
I mustered all of my bravery and climbed out of bed. "It's just a spider, and it won't bite you. Simply get through it, and you're done," I whispered as I approached them, making a special point not to stare at that thing. I was halfway through when I was obliged to seek for the beast, which was not distant from me. Without wasting a second, I rushed towards them, shutting the door behind me with a loud crash.
"You could have terrified that beast," Jimin chuckled as I shrugged.
"So now, shortie, do you have anything to say?" he grinned at me.
"You were so bold that was difficult to see the perspiration trickling down your cheeks."
"Ah, shortie, quit lying," he muttered as I rolled my eyes at him.
"The truth," I said with a chuckle.
"You both are obnoxious at times," Hoseok interjected, or else I would be on the floor right now while he choked me to death.
"We know," we responded together, smiling at one other.
"So, why can't you two get along for a day?" Hosoek regarded both of us with suspicion.
"We'll give it a go. So, should we walk downstairs? "Jimin extended his hand to me.
"For God's sake, I requested you to be normal and not like Prince Charming," Hoseok said.
"That's why, as you can see. Let's get started, shortie." he dragged me downstairs as Hoseok stared at both of us in bewilderment.
"Should we truly get along as Hyung said?" he said as we descended the stairs.
"Naah, just keep being the same old irritating brat."
"Did you just call me an irritating brat, shortie?" He stared at me as I broke free from his hands and stuck out my tongue at him.
"Wait till I catch you," his lips formed a sneer.
Shit, I dashed into the kitchen, only to see Jin and Yoongi there.
"How many times have I told you not to run around?" Jin said as he saw me coming towards them.
So, instead of Jin, I walked to the person cleaning the dishes who was standing a little farther away from him.
I put my hands around his torso, causing him to startle a little at the unexpected touch...
"What the... Oh, I might have had a heart attack," Suga said.
I turned around to see Jimin being chastised by Jin for doing the same thing I had done previously. I sighed deeply and put my head on his. Oh shit, I unwrapped my hands from around his torso, prompting him to turn around.
“So, what did you do this time?” he said, looking me in the eyes, making me apprehensive.
"He pursued me around as I called him an irritating brat," I said as I lost myself in his gaze.
He merely hummed to it and went back to cleaning dishes while I stood next to him, observing him. I had no intention of abandoning him anytime soon.
"Oh, here you are?" said Hoseok, with an infectious grin on his face, and I returned him.
"Are you sleeping there tonight?" said Hoseok, as I gave him a “Are you serious” look.
"Never, until that thing is killed directly in front of my eyes."
"Huh, kill what?" Suga said, looking perplexed at each of us.
"Don't bring it up again. We managed to get out of her room despite the presence of a massive spider." He exhaled a sigh of relief.
"That explains why you're still wearing it," Suga continued as his gaze moved down my body and I nodded.
"I was ready to change into something comfy when the creature appeared out of nowhere."
"Isn't it simply a spider? Please come with me." He gestured for me to follow him. I debated whether or not to follow while looking at Hoseok and ended up following him when he nodded and assured me that everything would be okay.
