"No, no, no, no, no- ugh." I say, as the elevator door closes.
I'm currently in Sydney, Australia and I'm about to be late for a very important Skype meeting with a lady because we're trying to start a business type thing.
I'm in Sydney because I just graduated high school and wanted to come here right after graduation, so here I am. In Sydney. The day after graduation. But my mom set me up with some business lady and I didn't even want to do it but I didn't want to upset my mom, so she said I have to Skype her by 10 in the morning or else the deal thing is off. It's exactly 10:03 and I'm waiting for the next elevator.
I didn't think traffic would be so bad at 10 in the morning. All I did was run to McDonalds for coffee and a biscuit because I did't feel like eating hotel breakfast.
I hear the elevator ding and I snap out of my thoughts, but it's just the elevator closing again. Great, ok this is why I don't drink coffee it distracts me.
I wait a minute and the next elevator comes. Once everyone is out, I quickly walk in.
"Close you stupid door." I say hitting the close button repeatedly.
It finally starts to close, but an arm pops in right before it closes, making them open again.
"Ugh really?" I say, aggravated and frustrated.
"What?" The boy says, confused.
"You couldn't wait for the next elevator?" I say, crossing my arms.
"I could." the boys says.
"Ok thank you." I say pushing him out.
"But I'm not." He smirks, walking around my arms.
"No! I'm late get out." I say holding my arm out in front of the doors.
"No." He says.
"Yes- ugh you know what forget it. Now I'm just wasting time arguing with you." I say.
I let the doors close, hoping no one else try's to get on.
"What floor?" I ask.
"Five." He says.
"Oh great me too." I say, pressing the button.
"What's your name?" He asks.
"Melissa." I say.
"Mine's Calum." he says sticking out his hand.
