Third Person POV

"Maaaaaark! Nooooooooh! Somebody call an ambulance!!!" Gun pushed everybody aside to get close to the limp and lifeless looking body of Mark whose one arm was dangling from the arms of the older man who was holding him.

"He's alright, he's alright," the older man quickly assured the panicked Gun. "He's just very tired and unable to talk much because he is out of breath."

"How and where did you find him?" Gun asked, already trying to get Mark from the older guy and carrying him in his own arms.

Everyone followed Gun as he walked towards the couch in the living room and gently laid Mark on it.

"My son and I were walking by the river's edge close to our property which is on the opposite side of the river from yours, farther down south," the older man was explaining. "We saw him clinging to one of the taller rocks jutting from the riverbed. He was not even crying out for help because he looked very tired. We ran to him and called to him to not let go of the rock. When we got to him he lost consciousness and we dragged him to dry land. When he regained consciousness, we asked him where he was staying and he pointed us to this direction."

Gun was stroking Mark's hair the whole time that the older man was speaking. Then he turned to the older man and said, "Thank you so much for helping him to get back here. Would you  and your son like to stay and have some cold drinks?"

"No, thank you, we will be fine," said the older man. "We need to be getting back to our property. It's quite a long walk from here."

"I really would like to repay you for your good deed," Gun insisted. "Is there anything I can do for you?"

The older man glanced at Mark whose eyes were still closed. Then he motioned for Gun to follow him outside the living room. The son of the older man followed them.

When they reached the porch, the man went down the short flight of steps to the ground and then turned to Gun. "Is there anyone among you here whose name is Gun?"

"I am Gun," Gun informed the older man.

The older man's eyes widened. He turned to his son.

"Tell him," he said to his son.

The son turned to Gun with a curious look on his face, and then said, "Before he lost consciousness, I heard him whisper 'It hurts so much to love you, Gun' ".

"I see," Gun said, his lower lips quivering, his eyes starting to glisten with moisture quickly forming in them. "Thank you for telling me. If there's anything you need at all, please do not hesitate to come to me."

"We will," the older man replied. Then he placed his hand heavily on Gun's shoulder. "If you love him back, let him know."

Then he turned to his son and said, "Let's go."

"Yes, father," the son obediently said.

Father and son were rounding the corner of the trail when they heard running footsteps. They stopped and waited until the person running came into their sight

When the person who had been running reached them, he said between gasps of air, "Is that house over there where Cooheart lives?"

"Who is Cooheart," father and son asked simultaneously.

"He is someone who is here on vacation with his other friends," the person who had been running replied.

"Well, we don't know who this Cooheart you're talking about is, but there are several young men living in that house, so you might want to go there and ask," the younger of the two replied.

"Thank you so much," the person who had been running said gratefully.

"You're welcome," the younger of the two replied and quickly turned away but his shoe got caught on a stone that loosened up and he would have hit the ground if the person who had been running had not caught him in his arms.

They both stared at each other's faces, their lips barely inches apart. They would have stayed in that position for a longer time but the older man said sharply, "Son, what are you waiting for, let's go! We have a long walk ahead of us!"

The son quickly straightened up and hurriedly said "Thank you" to the person who had caught him from falling.

That person grabbed his wrist, "Hey, my name is Neo, what's yours?"

"I'm Khaotung," said the son of the older man.

"Nice to meet you," said Neo.

"Thank you again for catching me before I could fall," said Khaotung, and was about to run after his father who was already walking away when Neo grabbed his arm again.

Neo held out his phone to Khaotung and said "Would you please key in your number on my phone?"

Khaotung smiled and quickly did as was requested of him and then handed Neo back his phone, his face somehow getting all flushed. Then he quickly turned away to run after his father but somehow his shoe again got caught against another larger stone and this time he fell flat on his face.

For those who don't know him, his name is Neo Trai Nimtawat who played the role of Na in "Tonhon Chonlatee". He was in love with Chonlatee (Khaotung) but Chonlatee loved Tonhon. In this fanfic he's the younger brother of Kao who is in competition with Title for Cooheart's love.
