Title's POV
I felt a little woozy when daylight came. I practically had no sleep the night before. The lemon grass tea which usually helped me to sleep had no effect on me last night.
I stumbled my way to the bathroom and stopped short. Even before I could place my hand on the bathroom doorknob I heard someone going "Uhh... uhh... uhh... ohmygaaahhhd... aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!"
I quietly went to peek into Perth and Saint's room. They were both asleep on their bed. I then went to Mean and Plan's room. The room was empty!
I quickly went back to the living room and lay back down on the couch and pretended to be asleep. Not before long, I heard the bathroom door open and I heard footsteps and hushed voices. I kept my eyes shut until I heard their bedroom door shut.
I then got up slowly once more and made my way to the bathroom.
Gun's master bedroom was just beside the bathroom at the end of the hallway.
Before I could turn the doorknob, I heard another "uhh... uhh... Mark!... aaahhh... aaahhh... Mark ohgod... aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!" coming from the end of the hallway.
Suddenly I felt very sad and lonely and alone.
I let the water from the shower head spray into my face. The water mingled with my tears. I told myself to stay strong.
"Is everyone all packed and ready to go?" Gun asked after everyone converged in the living room. "Since we had no time to prepare and eat breakfast, we will just stop at one of the fast food eating places along the way."
"Sounds good to me!" everyone said except me. I was not feeling hungry at all.
When everyone had tossed their belongings and climbed into the van, Gun took over his place behind the wheel. Mark sat beside him on the front passenger seat.
"Did everyone have a good time?" Gun asked before turning the ignition on.
"Absolutely!" Perth and Saint replied with big smiles on their faces.
"We sure did, thank you very much!" Mean and Plan answered in unison.
I was the only one who did not respond.
All heads turned to me.
"Are you alright, Title?" Gun asked.
I nodded my head, trying not to look miserable.
Soon the van had merged into the main street. It was still early so there were still not too many cars on the road.
Suddenly we heard a loud honking behind us.
"What the hell," Gun said as he looked into his rear view mirror.
There was a taxicab behind us and the driver seemed to be gesturing for us to stop.
Gun slowed down the van and stopped by the roadside. The taxicab also slowed down and before it could barely stop someone came out from the passenger seat and started running toward the van.
When I saw who it was, I quickly jumped out of the van, my heart beating very fast.
"What are you doing here, Cooheart?" I asked.
He did not answer but ran straight into my arms, hugging me very tight.
"What is the meaning of this?" I asked him, trying to tell myself that this was just all a dream, that I was still asleep on the couch in the living room of Gun's vacation house by the river.
"I kept thinking about you the whole time that I was away from you," Cooheart confessed against my chest. "I needed to see you again."
"And why is that?" I asked, still unable to believe that this was happening. I refrained from pinching myself.
"I realized that it was you whom I loved this whole time. It just took me some time to admit it to myself because I was afraid that you might hurt my feelings," Cooheart said, his face still buried in my chest.
"I would never hurt the one I love, and the one I love is you, you know that," I said, pulling away from him and placing my hands on either side of his face, tilting it upwards to mine.
And then slowly, I bent my face towards his and gave him the kiss that, before now, I could only imagine in my dreams.
Suddenly we heard a loud honk from the van. I broke the kiss.
"Let's go," I said, taking Cooheart's hand and leading him towards the van.
"Yaaaaaayyyyyy!" everyone cheered as Cooheart and I climbed into the van.
