ten years later

"Well, it's been ten years since Arya joined the team," Michael started, and Arya smiled at his words, waiting to listen to what he had to say, "And she's only nearly died ten times. That's an average of once a year." Michael finished, and Arya's face fell.

"You're an idiot." She mumbled, snatching the keys from him and he chuckled as he wrapped his arms around her, squeezing her tightly and she grumbled as she pushed him away.

"Anyways, we want to say thank you, Arya. You've helped us immensely this past decade." Calum said, and she smiled as she nodded, glancing around at the four.

"You helped us a lot. And you were really kickass." Luke said, and Arya snorted as he winked at her, shaking her head and brushing a strand of hair behind her ear.

"How's Arya junior?" She asked, and he chuckled as he smiled.

"Arya junior is doing fine, she's taking after her godmother." Luke said, amusement in his tone and Arya smiled back at him.

Throughout the years, Luke had found someone who lived a completely normal life, opposite of what Luke had and he fell madly in love with her.

It was difficult at first, as he didn't reveal that he worked for Nemesis, until he was on the brink of death and his fiance was extremely pissed off at him, and it was then that he told her.

Now they were expecting a daughter, and Arya insisted that they named it after her.

Calum was also head over heels in love with someone, the same girl that saved him and Arya from the security guards in Germany, and he couldn't get enough of her.

The story of how they met the second time was definitely an interesting one, as she was hired to kill him and he was hired to kill her.

It was almost like Mr. and Mrs. Smith, but more realistic.

"I can't believe we're ending it." Arya sighed, glancing around the empty building and the four nodded in agreement with her.

"It's for the best." Ashton muttered, and Michael frowned as he glanced around the others.

"Hey, let's not be sad. Let's just see this as an opportunity to blossom and grow into - Oh, who the hell am I kidding. I'm going to miss this." Michael said, running a hand through his now blond hair and shook his head.

"This was the best damn time of my life." Calum mumbled, and Luke nodded as he clasped Calums back, the two smiling at each other.

"Hell yeah it was." Ashton said, beaming around at the four, and he frowned as he glanced around.

"Well, it's about that time." Luke said, scratching the back of his neck as he looked at the empty room, and sighed as he started walking away, Calum jogging behind him to catch up.

Michael turned next, going out the door and letting it shut behind him, while Arya and Ashton stood, looking around still.

"Thank you, Ashton. For allowing me to be a part of this." Arya said, and Ashton chuckled as he nodded.

"It was all your fathers idea. He planned this thing so thoroughly, I bet he knew we'd be here even ten years later. He was the best damn man I've ever met, and I know he'd be proud of you." Ashton said, patting her on the back lightly and she smiled as she watched him leave, before she sighed and crossed her arms over her body and took one last look around.

She walked forward, her footsteps echoing off the empty walls, and she stopped at the door as she held the keys in her hands and looked around, memories flooding through her as she smiled at them all.

"This is the life," she thought to herself as she switched off the last of the lights and shut the door behind her, leaving Nemesis for the last time.
