Arya was never really a loner. It wasn't until her dad passed away that she realized she didn't want the company of others around her. She was sitting on her knees at her fathers grave, despite the rain falling down. It's not like it matters, it just hid the tears that stained her cheeks.

"I really don't know what to do." She said quietly, playing with the flower she had in her hand and looking at the grave. She doesn't know why she was talking to the grave site, she knew it wouldn't get her anywhere.

But it helped her feel better. She's felt lost since it's happened. She's felt as if she was alone in the world. The only person she loved and trusted was ripped away from her, and she still didn't know why. She remembers the day exactly, the day her world shattered.

"Dad, I'm coming home today!" She said, laughing at her father over the camera screen and he smiled.

"I'm glad Princess. What time am I expecting you here then?"

"Probably around three. I'm leaving as soon as I get ready."

"That's good. We'll go out for dinner then." Her father said, smiling at her and she nodded.

"Same as usual?" She asked, knowing her dad always loves the same restaurant whenever she comes home for college.

"Of course sweetheart. Listen, I have something I really want to tell you today. It's going to be difficult, but I want to tell you now." He said and Arya frowned.

"Dad? Why, what's wrong?" She asked and he chuckled, waving his hand towards the screen.

"It's nothing to worry about Princess. Just something I want to tell you." He said, but she wasn't convinced. She smiled, despite a sinking feeling in her chest. She didn't know why, but something wasn't right.

"Okay, I'll get ready and then I'll be home Dad. I love you, see you soon." She said, smiling as he chuckled.

"Love you too Princess, I'll see you when you get home." He said, and she ended the video call, before going and getting ready.

She did the same and boring drive home as usual, making the three hour drive go by with some music. She pulled into the large driveway, pulling up to the garage and getting out of her car.

The front door was open. Odd, but maybe he was waiting for her. She grabbed her bag out of the backseat, slinging it over her shoulder and stepping inside.

"Dad?" She called, but no answer. She started to panic, searching the house. She found nothing downstairs, searching around again.

"Dad?" She screamed, going upstairs and she froze as she saw his office door open slightly. Her hands were trembling as she pushed the door open, her heart stopping at the scene before her.

"I wish you were still here." She whispered, placing the flower on the grave, wiping her face and standing up. She checked her watch, frowning as it was nearing nine and she had to be at Nemesis soon. She went into her black Prius, taking a shaky breath and driving off.

She pulled into the parking garage, unbuckling her seat belt before looking in the mirror and wiping off any excess makeup that smudged from earlier. She got out of the car, her combat boots hitting the cold pavement as she went into the office.

Sure the front was being a CEO, but Arya didn't care. She dressed how she wanted, how she felt comfortable. She tugged her sleeves over her hand, shivering slightly at the brisk weather, but stepped inside.

Arya walked into the office, smiling at Luke as she sat beside him. Luke felt like a little brother to her, he's been the nicest lately. Michael and Calum, well they kept flirting with her.
