You wake up. Your dog is at the foot of your bed as always. You love waking up to your little Guré, well she's not so little anymore. You've had her since she was just your little Northern Inuit puppy. You sit up and give her a little pat on the head. She tilts her head over to you and gives you what you would hope is a smile. You hear someone in the bathroom right next to your room. You assume it to be your brother since your parents are typically already at work when you wake up, even on weekends. You shout to your brother if he's made breakfast yet. He says no. You here Kasai trip and fall, you can't help but giggle a bit. He's so clumsy. You get up and get dressed. You put on some shorts and a tank top since it's the middle of summer, and a saturday. So you don't have to worry about your uniform. You head to the kitchen, Guré close behind you. You shout to Kasai to see what he wants for breakfast, he says he just wants some toast and eggs. You get out a pan and the eggs and put some toast in the toaster. You turn on the stove, the flame takes a minute to catch. But it is an old stove. You place the the pan on the burner and scoop some butter into the center of the pan. It's melts slowly flowing all around the the pan coating everything with the oily substance. You crack an egg on the side of the pan, the shell splits. You open the egg over the middle of the pan. The egg starts sizzling almost as soon as it touches the pan. You wait for the egg to cook. You give Guré a pat on the head. You turn back to the egg and pick up the pan, since it is easier to have the egg slide of the pan to the plate. Kasai doesn't notice what you are doing and grabs your sides trying to scare you. The pan slips out of your hands the butter spilling onto the open flame and Guré. Everything burst into flames. No matter where you turn your head, all you can see is flames.

You wake up crying, that isn't what you needed right now. You didn't need that reminder of them. It wasn't your fault. You didn't mean to have that happen. You wish you could go back, and trade your life for theirs. You close your eyes, all you can see is their faces. As if they were right in front of you wanting you to suffer. You gasp, you can feel your heart frantically beating about in your chest cavity. You are in a panic. You don't know what to do. You try to calm your breathing, and focus on one thing at a time. Like where are you. Where do you need to be going. Your heart beat slows down, and your breathing returns to normal.
