Just a little disclaimer, this is my first story so I know it's not very good, if your easily triggered from things then please don't read this. Anyway onto the story.
Eiji woke up with a start, the moon was still out, bright and shining right in the middle of the sky, beautiful as always. "Another nightmare..." Eiji figured, he had been getting them ever since Golzine raped him. "What should I do?" He didn't want to wake up Ash but also resented the thought of dealing with this alone. Ash had been having nightmares for years but Eiji never realized how difficult it was.
He headed to the bathroom, still shaking from the nightmare that just occurred. As soon as he got there he slumped over and cried, not loudly as to not wake Ash. "Eiji" Ash called after noticing he wasn't in bed next to him. "Eiji" the panic in his voice growing as he looked around the apartment unable to find boy. He went to the front of the bathroom door "EIJI, are you in there?" with no response, just as Ash prepared to break down the door Eiji responded, "I'm here. It's okay." With that the door swung open revealing Eiji with a pink face and dried tears. "Sorry Ash, I just had to use the bathroom" with that Eiji slid past Ash leaving him staring at the bathroom mirror.
He's lying Ash thought.
Ash decided not to pry after seeing Eiji filled with mixed emotions of pain, sadness, and guilt. Eiji hadn't told Ash about what happened that day. He knows he should but even the thought of hurting Ash more broke Eiji inside. He knew that Ash would blame himself though he couldn't have done anything.
