Chapter 5 - Dreams

Eiji 'awakes' to find himself in familiar surroundings, one's he's visited numerous times in his dreams. He finds himself tied tightly to the bed surrounded by the drowned-out voices of men completely surrounding him. He finds himself struggling against the bonds that hold him down, trying desperately to break free, to no avail. The bonds only seem to be restricting, digging deeper and deeper into his flesh until he starts to see the blood drip down his arm. He winces in pain still never giving up hope, he knows he has to get out of here, so he can see Ash again. He suddenly brings his whole body to a halt as he hears the door start to unlock. The blood drained from his face as he recognized who it was, Dino Golzine.

He wasted no time in breaking Eiji mind, body, and soul. He used him like a doll, like how Ash had been treated. Those few days were torture with the repeated beatings, raping, and torture. All the while Eiji howled in pain until he had no strength left to even do that, and they only stopped when he couldn't even move his body. They left the boy a mess on the floor whimpering to himself, trying with all his might to call for Ash. But out comes only a small non intelligible whisper, right before Eiji lost consciousness.

Eiji wakes with a start and frantically looks around, relieved to find that he is once again with Ash. "You really shouldn't move; you have a fever and look like you could pass out again." Ash remarks. "I'm fine" Eiji weakly states as he struggles to get to his feet. "I'm really fi- "Eiji says before he crumbles to the ground letting out a small groan. "EIJI" Ash says as he rushes towards the boy now sprawled on the ground. "heh" Eiji lets out a small forced laugh as Ash picks him back up and puts him in bed. "I'm not letting you move until your all better." Ash states in a familiar but terrifying serious tone. Eiji weakly giggles as he's placed back in bed. It's been a while since he's seen this side of Ash and it's somehow reassuring.

"Do you know why you passed out? Eiji, I need to know" Ash says with the same serious expression on his face. Eiji looks up and quietly says "I haven't slept well" before quickly returning his eyes to his hands. Ash lets out a deep sigh and laid himself next to the frail boy. Eiji welcomes his new companion in his bed and they quickly cuddle next to each other, each one absorbing the others warmth. "You should really try to get some sleep" Ash says gently into Eiji's ear. A look of pain crosses Eiji's face for a split second before he returns to his normal sweet face. "Yeah, I'll try." Eiji says as he curls into Ash's warm embrace feeling every ounce of warmth drain into his body. "Just stay with me, please." Eiji asks sadly. "Of course," With that Eiji slowly drifts into the world on unconsciousness.
