Chapter 6 - Note

Woah two updates in one day, well basically, hope ya'll are enjoying it so far though, anyways onto the story

He looks so peaceful when he sleeps Ash thinks as he stares longingly into Eiji's face. If only it could've stayed that way, for suddenly the Asian began to shake. Not a lot, but enough for the blonde boy to take notice. He watched in terror as the boy's peaceful face slowly turned into a pained expression. The color drained from Ash's face as he watched in horror as Eiji struggled next to him. He quickly brings him even tighter into an embrace trying his best to comfort the young boy. Only then did he begin to notice the temperature of the boy next to him was, even under the blankets there was no warmth in him, he was ice cold.

Ash quickly began to shake the frail boy awake, with a jolt Eiji finally came too. He was covered in a cold sweat and was taking labored breaths. He looked over to find that once warm face belonging to the blonde turned into a pained and worried expression. "Hey Ash, how long was I out?" Eiji began to ask with a warm smile across his face. Ash watched as this once weak and timid boy that was filled to the brim with happiness was now a deeply pained and sad young man. "Not long" Ash replied, snapping himself out of his trance. "I'm so sorry Eiji" Ash says weakly as he gently pulls the boy in for a hug. Eiji, surprised by the sudden touch, hesitates before letting the blonde boy fully engulf his body. He felt at peace, he felt the sudden warmth reinvigorate him, he felt alive. Then he suddenly felt a new sensation, a warm liquid started to flow down his back, it took him a couple second to realize what it was, he sat up to see Ash crying in front of him. Feeling so hopeless to help his dear friend, Eiji gingerly returns to hugging Ash to give him some sort of relief.

Their sense of calm and peace was short-lived as two figures busted into the room. "Boss," the two chimed in unison. "We were looking for y- oh sorry didn't mean to interrupt" He quickly stated after realizing what he barged in on. In truth the two had no idea what had happened for the sight that was before them was nothing short of bizarre. There he was, the strong, beautiful, invulnerable Ash Lynx crying into a frail, pale boy's arms. "Come in" He said moments later, trying to keep his composure. "What is it and speak quickly" Ash aggressively snapped. "Uh it's just that you have a call, Boss" Bones chimed in. "Who is it?" his tone growing increasingly more annoyed. "It's-It's Dino Golzine."

"WHAT, that bastard. What's the goal with this new stunt?" Ash responds full of anger, rage, and a hint of curiosity. All these emotions vanished when he looked over to see Eiji completely broken. The first thing he noticed was the boy's color, or lack thereof, for when Eiji heard that name all the life had drained from him as he began to relive his hellish nightmares over and over again. The next thing he noticed was the boy's fast paced breathing, it was as if he had just run a marathon. Finally, the last and most terrible thing the Ash saw was Eiji's dark brown eyes. They were filled with the most pain and sadness that Ash had ever seen in those beautiful eyes.

"He says that you'll want to take the call" Kong says softly, not wanting to face the wrath of the great lynx. But Ash's eyes were still glued to Eiji, he was noticing every detail, putting the pieces together. "Boss, boss can you hear me?" Bone says, trying to grab Ash's attention. "What" Ash snaps, finally being released from his spell. "Are you gonna take the call?" Kong asks pitifully still scared to death of the wild cat. "Huh oh yeah, put him on" Ash replies cautiously still wary of the threat this could pose. "Hi Ash," an all to familiar voice says. "How's your Japanese friend doing by the way- ""WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM" Ash violently responds, all his built-up anger and rage taking over. "To be completely honest I'm not sure how the boy's still alive," the evil voice continues as if nothing happened "My men did some truly terrible things to him, all the while having their fun too. You should have seen him, he tried to stay strong but by the end he couldn't even move. How pathetic it was to see him try to call your name only to get beat again-"

Those words shook Ash to his very core, he couldn't take it anymore, all that emotions he had been building up, the anger, the sadness, the guilt all came rushing forward as he smashed the phone to pieces. "Ash, wh-what happened" the small boy began as he rose from his bed, the sweet and gentle voice that radiated from him beginning to calm Ash. The pale boy rushed over to Ash, still wobbly and barely standing. "Are you okay?" He asked as his gaze flashed to the blonde boy's hands, he saw as the blood trickled from the open wounds. "It's nothing" the boy replied bluntly. "No, it's not." Eiji responded as he rushed to get the first aid kit from where it was kept. Once it was in hand he began to clean and bandage the blonde boy's hand as gentle as he could. "Uh Boss," a voice said, surprising both Ash and Eiji. "This note was where the phone was as well." He knew that would happen Ash thought. The note read a location, the inner ports 1am tonight.
