Stuck on a feeling

JAKEEYP'S POV

I can't believe I'm about to lie to them. She's not okay, she has cancer. She has 3 weeks to live, she's not strong enough to survive this week. What am I going to tell Susana?! She's going to be heart broken. Addison is like her sister to her, they were always together and they told each other everything.

As I was talking to Emely, I felt like my heart stopped for a little bit. I can't lie to her, I can't do this to her. I'm going to tell her the truth, I don't want her to be mad at me if she finds out I was lying to her. I guess ill pool her aside and just come out with it.

I saw Susana sitting on Myles's lap and I thought "She's lucky to have him."

My heart is raising really fast, I feel like I'm going to faint.

"Hey, wake her up. Please."

I said as I shook Susana. I walked away and stood in the corner until I heard her call me.

"Uhm, Addison's going to be just fine."

She was so happy she ran to me and hugged me. I just lied to her.

"Bro, can I talk to you?"

"Uh, yeah come on"

I followed Myles to his car and he just looked at me with a serious face.

I can't lie to him, not my older brother. I just look at him without saying anything.

Why is it so hard for me to tell them this.

"EARTH TO JAKE!!??" he said while hitting my head

"OWW!"

"What did you want to talk about?"

"So I'm just going to come out and say it"

"Bro, are you gay?"

"What!? N-Noo! I'm dating a GIRL stupid" I said

"So then what is it?" He said

"I'm in love with another girl and I don't know what to do! My first love is dying in there and I'm out here thinking about another girl who may possible not like me! What so ever!

I lied to everyone. Addison's not okay. She only has three weeks to live, she may not even make it through this week."

"Wait, Hold up! So you're not gay right?"

"Seriously!? Myles focus!"

"I'm kidding. Why didn't' you tell me a long time ago? Jake, you can't keep this from her, from Susana. If she finds out from someone else she's going to flip out. And who is this mystery girl?"

"First of all, I didn't say anything because I was/am scared! I will tell her, just when I find the right time.

And th-"

I didn't even get to finish my sentence because Myles decided to cut me off.

"Find the right moment!? Never is the right moment. Jake, I love you bro but, either you tell her or I will."

"I will tell her. I promise."

I was hoping he would forget that I said I was in love with another girl but he

wouldn't shut up. "who's the girl!?" that's all he would say.

"Its.... Ashley..."

"Really?"

"Yeah, ever since I met her I just can't stop thinking about her.

I can't stop thinking about the way she smiles, or the way she laughs."
