You know how some parents are really encouraging,
And then some let their kids do what they want,
And then some let them follow their dreams?
Yeah well I want parents like that
My parents don't believe in my dreams
My dad says I can't sing and that I'm not allowed to try out for one of those singing shows
My parents won't let me go where I want to without a parent with me/us
And my parents won't let me date
Or go to a friends house without having to meet the parents
I can't even go to the park super super close to my house
And then I can't eat what I want
Or my dad will just say really really rude things to me or about me
But not that anyone gives a fuck so whatever
