So if you look into dreamtale, you will find out that passive nightmare(let's call him grape) and corrupted nightmare(let's call him Octodad) are two different people. Grape is older than dream and Octodad comes to life like 6 years after dream and grape come to life. Meaning grape is the oldest sibling, dream is the middle sibling, and Octodad is the youngest sibling. But with grape gone for basically 500 years, dream should technically be in charge of Octodad.
