It was almost time for the sun to rise again in Auradon

It was almost time for the sun to rise again in Auradon. The sky was grey and lightening up with time and the cold invades Mal and Evie's dormroom. The others have gathered in there too, waiting for the moment that they need to leave. Beast was comforting Belle and clothing her up warm and Mal wraps her arms tightly around her fiance's neck in a warm hug. "We will come back as quick as we can," she whispers against his ear.

"Please, Mal.. I can not stand to lose my mother," Ben responds in a low, gravelly voice. He had bangs under his eyes and his eyelids were drooping slightly. He was lacking sleep, but he also couldn't go to bed. The anxiety and fear was gnawing at him, leaving him restless and awake the entire night. Mal caresses his cheek and smiles sadly. "I know. I know.. I know," she whispers continuously in an emotional mutter. Over the time that passed from the moment she started dating Ben, Belle began to feel like a mother to her.

Jay feels bad for doing so, but he softly coughs to get the attention of his friend and her boyfriend. "I'm sorry to interrupt, but it's almost time." Mal nods solemnly and parts from Ben. She throws the duffel bag she packed over her shoulder and looks at Jay. They hug their friends goodbye and walk over to Belle. Together they put her in between them with each having one arm over their shoulders.

By the entrance of the school building they see Fairy Godmother and Jane awaiting them. "How is she," the fairy asks with a pointed look at the former queen. Mal and Jay look at the person in between them and shake their heads with expressions of gloom on their faces. "I fear she's only getting worse," Mal murmurs. At that moment Aurelius and Aria arrive as well. Aurelius was wearing black breeches with a black, linen medieval chemise and a red leather vest, homages to his father. Aria dressed herself in black breeches as well and a white linen chemise, much like her father. She had her strawberry red hair bound in a messy knot.

"Is everyone ready," Aurelius questions. The others nod quietly and leave Auradon Prep's school grounds. Together they head towards the location where they agreed to meet Antoinette and Pyper, a cliff by the sea. Once they reach the location they see the other two already there. Pyper was dressed in black jean shorts and a dark green cropped top, decorated with a black leather harness. Her shoulder length hair was wild and free. She looks like a tomb raider from one of those old stories, Mal thinks to herself.

Anne was wearing a more colourful set of clothes. Her hair was, as usual, two coloured and in ponytails and her outfit consisted of long dark pink pants, a blouse of the same colour and a long tunic in lighter pink with a belt ensnaring her waist. Both girls look up at hearing people approach them and greet the newcomers with a nod of their heads.

"You're late," Pyper remarks with an angry glare. Mal stares back at her competitively. "It's kind of difficult to move fast while dragging an unconscious body." Pyper growls lowly. "Not my concern." She takes a step back and looks up at the sky. "We still have time, though limited. So, everyone, grab each other's hands. Anne, you'll stand by my side." The Tremaine girl giggles and claps in her hands. Then she eagerly walks over to her friend and they lace their fingers together. Aria hesitantly holds onto Anne and Aurelius onto Aria. Pyper glances at Mal. "Give me Belle's hand." Maleficent's daughter wasn't that pleased, but does as asked. When everyone linked their hands together Pyper glances up towards the barely visible stars.
