My parents where set on moving as far away as possible from this state and this country. It was the year Biden was elected president and our world had truned to shit. My parents try to blame him but, what happened wasn't even close to his power. My oldest sibling had been murder, her and her whole family. It had been everywhere we looked. My parents couldn't escape the pain so we moved. It wasn't just a hit and run. There bodies where put insane positions around the house, it was set up as a message to someone. The man was never caught and it hunted us all. Whoever this was Killed two 24 year old adults. A 2 year old little girl and a little boy that was only a year old. This all happened when I was 15. We stayed for three years and nothing happened. My parents finally had the money to move so we did.
Before we moved I had went through a horrible break up and that's why I agreed to leave. I was in pain and I wanted to run from the pain so I did, just like my parents. My oldest brother was in the same boat as me but my second oldest brother was to attached to America to leave, it was his home just like the rest of us. But unlike us he had more of an attachment to it.
It was my first day of school, I was nervous. Its not like I've been here all my life and everyone knew me I was just at another school. I'm a complete stranger to everyone. As soon as I walked in there was a cute boy standing there smiling at me. "Hi! I assume your Adrian? I was assigned to show you around! I'm Indiana, Indiana Urban!" I faked a smile "That's me, I'm Adrian! Adrian White." Somehow this kids smile got bigger "Great let's get started! I see all of our classes are the same so all you have to do if follow me all day!" I followed him to our first class and it was chemistry. I sat in the back and he followed me and sat with me. "Ok class so you guys will have a 3 page essay due tomorrow, get a partner and get started." Non of the class complianed back where I was from my teacher didn't assign anything for homework he was always sleeping. The teacher noticed me and smiled "You must be Adrian!" I sighed "Does everyone know who I am or what?" Everyone truned around a gave me the eye like I just made a big mistake. Indiana's mouth dropped. The teacher walked over to me her smile fading each step she took. "Someone must not know the rules?" I looked at her right in the eyes "What rules? This is a school the only rules should be no drugs and no cussing, oh and hats and phones." Everyones eyes got huge like I had just cussed the teacher out. "Well give me your hand and I'll walk you to the front of the class and read them to you like your a baby." She was smiling at me with her hand out and I looked at it and slapped it like a half five and walked to the front of the class. Everyone was still staring at me as I sat in the chair infront of her desk, and leaned back. She sat down gently and began reading a set of rules that sound like stupid shit to me. I ignored most of them and eventually it was time to go "Ms White, what's rule number 28?" I walked back and grabbed my bag and came back upfront. "Don't speak without permission. Which I think is bogus, we are humans we have the right to speak if we want to. So you and your set of rules can leave me alone." I said with a huge smile stuck to my face. I walked out and Indiana was standing there waiting for me. He smiled as soon as he saw me, "Your crazy, she's probably going to kill you tomorrow. I started our paper-" I looked at him "Wait, you picked me for your partner?" He smiled "Why wouldn't I?" We where walking up a set of stairs that looked like they lasted forever. "Because you hardly know me, what if I don't do anything or I don't work?" He laughed "Than next time I won't pick you. So if you want we can hangout after school to get this done." I smiled my fake smile as usual. "Sure, I'd offer for you to come over to my place but we don't have anything set up because we just moved here. So if it's ok could we go over to your place?" I swear this kid had ten million different smiles but this time he looked sad. "Yeah we can go to my place, but my dad will be there. So beware he's a grump because of work, and most girls try to get his autograph." He was staring at the ground. "Why would girls want your dad's autograph?" He sighed "Because he's a famous actor." If my dad was a famous actor I'd be happy.

I called my mom after school and told her, and of course she wanted to address and me to call or message her every hour I was there. Indiana's brother came a got us, because his dad was cooking. His brother dropped us off at this huge mansion. "Wow." I said walking up to this huge wrap around porch. Indiana smiled as he opened the door. "Ouch!"
