My heart is a gift
It goes out to others but never returns with anything
I give you my knowledge
Though I know it will not change your mind

The moon blared in the sky casting its array of shining light onto the palace grounds. The area was well lit and could be traversed with no effort.

Although the light of the moon graced Vivienne and her counterparts, she did not go outside to observe the beauty of the sky.
She didn't feel like going outside. She didn't feel like doing anything.

Today's adventures with Mobi were quite exhausting. Never before had she been assaulted in such an inappropriate manner, or at all even.

She layed in bed and stared at the ceiling of her home waiting for the relief of rest to settle in. But it never came.
She tossed and turned with too many thoughts running through her mind.

Im going to get out of her one day. Even if I have to launch myself off this planet.

Vivienne shivered. Mobi didn't know what she was doing. She hardly knew about the world beyond the town she grew up in. She couldn't even understand the intentions of the first lady.
Whatever crazy idea was stewing in Mobi's brain is sure to get her killed.

"I should have gone to work today," Vivienne whispered to herself.

She rolled over and closed her eyes.

Vivienne packed her bags and dressed herself for work in the morning. She strolled down the halls of her housing unit and happily went to work. She was going to enjoy this little break in her daily life.
Although she eloped Mobi very much, she needed a break from the chaos that would insue when they were together.

"Goodmorning Vivienne!" The head maid cheerfully said to her as she walked in.
The head maid was a large, tall opossum with a black heart fur pattern on the top of her hand. No one could ever figure out if it was painted on or her natural fur.

"Good morning ma'am," Vivienne said back.

"Here is a list of tasks for you today, if you finish you can help with some of the other maids' work."

"Thank you!"

Vivienne looked over the list and headed towards the west coordinate. She had a plethora of floors to sweep and carpets to clean for today's task.

She looked down at the floor once she arrived in the first room. The floor looked spotless, but she figured she should sweep it again for good measure.
Today will be an easy day if the rest of her chores are repeating what the maids had cleaned the previous day.

A couple hours of work had past. Vivienne was waiting for the chef's tea towls to finish drying in the drying machine.
She was just about to start another load of kitchen towls before her communicator buzzed and she heard the familiar upbeat bubbly ring tone.

"Vivienne, we need you to wait the city council at the meeting today."

"Pardon? Whys that?"
