WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! mean comments,blood and bullying

" Ugly bitch," a girl shouted from the crowd of people, three others decided to go physical. Mostly aiming for my hair and stomach. I would choke out blood from some of the kicks which got them mostly laughing. " Are you not gonna fight back y/n?" Zerophia spat, some of it landing on my bloody face.

But I keep my gaze down, if I looked I would've sent snakes after her. Looking to the floor with my own blood on it. She slapped me, and again, spitting shit about me. Probably about herself, as some others came to join. Alfea stopped them from further damage and sent them to class. And asked me to clean up myself before class, indicating I have 20 minutes to.

As I make my way through the crowded hallway, some whispered and some pointed, some laughed and some had pity drawn all over their face. I ignore them as I open the door to the washrooms, which were sadly for both genders. They should upgrade this stupid building called school.

Red stains filled the empty place, seems like I'm not the only bloodied person in this school. As I make my way to the sink, removing my shirt leaving me only in my bra and pants. I turn on the water and bring my shirt to the warm water. I was always a lover of water, cold or warm, it was a beauty, its colour and the feeling you feel when you touch it.

As I was washing the stains away from my uniform, the third one this week. Humming to myself while the clear water turns into a shade of red, two minutes pass by as I could hear humming from the other side of the washroom, not my humming, a boys humming. I slowly turn my head around to find a guy washing the blood off his shirt, which meant he was shirtless.

I quickly turn my head back before we could make any eye contact, he was probably around my age, maybe a year older. He looks towards me, thankfully not down to my chest, " Y/n is it, correct?" he asks still focused on his shirt. I look to him and respond with a nod. " And who may you be?" I ask, why? I have no clue, I shouldn't really care about this person's identity but curiosity takes over.

" Edmund," he responds, still focused on his shirt slowly turning back to its original colour, his chest now clean and showed his muscles, hard to keep my eyes off them but it's not impossible. I continue doing the same, as I wash my cloth, silence filled the air around us until I asked a dumb question.

" How'd you get so bloody?" He looks at me and smiles to himself, looks back and scrubs harder. " My brother got into a fight, so I broke them up, got a little beat up on the way," he admits as he was not done. " How about you y/n?" he asked, I thought before answering his question wondering if I should tell him about my beat up and decided why not.

" Oh, I just got beat up by Zerophia and her squad," I answer as I try to dry my shirt from the water, and then placing it on the side. He looks into my eyes and then the side of my stomach, where a new bruise was laying. He looked back into my eyes in worrisome, which I wondered why. " Can I examine your bruise?" he asked, pointing to the one he's been looking at.

" Why?" I ask, does he care about me, not many people from this school really do. " It looks like you've been bruised badly, and I can help," he replied, I nod my head finally realizing how much pain I should have felt, but I'm used to it.

As he makes his way to me, putting his shirt on his shoulder to dry a little. I move my arm up for him to get a better look into the bruise, as soon as his soft fingers touched my skin, it sends shivers down my spine, but I tried my best to be still.

He looked so focused that he didn't realize I was staring at his eyes, at first I thought it would be awkward but when I realized he wasn't paying attention to it, I fell deep into the mysteries of his eyes. " You look like you like my eyes," he said, but not letting his eyes meet mine, " W-What, no I'm not," I look to the mirrors that show him and me, but I feel his hands cup my cheeks and turn me into his direction.

" I could fall deep into your eyes but I'm more concerned about your bruise at this moment," he said while we kept eye contact, I finally broke it as my pain hit again. He went back to fix me, and I closed my eyes hoping it would ease my pain, mentally and physically.

" Done,"

" Well then you should get to class," I answer back, as he gets up and helps me, I tried my best to hide the scars in my arms but he was able to discover them. " You cut too?" he asked, showing me a clear view of his cuts on his arms that I didn't notice. " Yeah," I answered back, I had a reason to cut, but why him? He looked perfect.

" Well, why do you cut Edmund?" I ask, thinking it now it was probably too early to ask, but to Edmund, it seemed perfect. " Some mistakes haunt people for life, right?" he said, looking down to the ground, seemed like his mistake could've killed someone or caused a war from his eyes. I nod at his saying because it was indeed true.

" Why did you y/n?" he asked back, I look up to his eyes, filled with so many emotions, maybe some of those emotions haven't even been named by human beings yet, that is what make feelings so special to me, they were infinite. " Same thing," I give back, I look at the clock who said 8:58, I had two minutes to be in class.

He saw me look towards the clock and helped me get my things ready, as he said he had permission to arrive late to class because of his brother. We both get our things and he stays in the washroom, humming to himself like he hummed when I first saw him, an enchanting melody. Like it was from a completely different universe.

But it was beautifully enchanting, like an equal song. It was good but had its flaws, it was right, it was like fighting for its right to be loved or heard, it was just.
