(Your POV)

Half an hour later you get a knock on the door you walk over to it an open it,

"Hi- woah..." You opened the door and light looked at you shocked with wide eyes,

"w-what what's wrong...???!!"

"n-n-nothing y-you look s-stunning..."you looked away and blushed,

"Urmm...t-thank you you look handsome"

"Thank you...shall we" he put his elbow out to you, so you link arms with him say bye to your room mate you walk to the dance together,

"Thank you light..."

"What do you mean"

"No boys are ever nice to me your a first"

"Why aren't they nice to you your beautiful and I've heard about your grades there amazing"

"Heh, thanks but they just don't I was beaten up in my first week here..." You say with a tears glistens your eyes, light stops walking and turns to look at you and places his hand on your cheek,

"Well there worthless jerks who doesn't deserve you"

"No one likes me except my two friends and you..."

"I'm sure they do you have your parents don't you??"then some tears slipped out your eyes and dropped your knees,

"No I cant remeber my father and I never talk about my mother I was abused!!" He got onto his knees and wrapped you in his arms you sat like that for a while as he calmed you down,

"I'm soo sorry grace"

"No its ok im stupid for letting it get the better of me!!"

"Your not stupid your beautiful talented and unique I promise you everyone of your friends are your friends because they like you for who you are I like you for who you are..." You look up at light and smile,

"Thank you" and you hug him and snuggle into the crook of his neck slightly,

"Come on lets get you cleaned up and go tot the dance if you still want to go"he smiled,

"Yea I want to go"

"Okay"then you walk to the toilets and you clean your face and think 'why is he being nice hes probably going to ditch you at the dance or make you look at fool so there's not point falling for him...',

(Lights POV)

She's in the toilet and you think 'I feel soo sorry for her, all she's gone though well I'm not going to let her go though that again, ever, I will protect her, I'm falling her her, and I think I love her, she is so beautiful and I will show that to her, then she walks out,

"Hey light"

"Hey you feeling better?" She smiles at me

"Yea much" I walk up to her,

"Can I?" I say putting my arm at her waist

"Yes..."and I wrap my arm around her waist and we walk to the dance, when we got there people looked at us shocked, then I see 2 girls run up to us,

"HI!!!" One said,

"Hiya can we borrow grace for two mins??",

"Yea sure I'll get us a drink grace" she looks at me and smiles,

"Ok" and she walks off to her friends, her friends seem nice I pour two cups of drinks, then I see a blonde skinny girl look at me and bite her lip seductively, I shrug it off and walk to where the two girls where standing and I could see them giggling, talking and occasionally pointing to me,

(Your POV)

"OMG your here with light as your date OMG your soo lucky" said Naomi,

"Yea and you look stunning!!" Said blaze.

Blaze had long purple hair in two bunches at the top and long at the back, a dress that was black and a couple of ruffles with a red flower in-between where the breast are separated and a red flower in her hair, the dress stopped at her knees and short shoulder sleeves, long boots that stopped blow her knees and where about 3 inches high, with natural crimson red eyes.

Naomi had pink hair shorter than blazes but only a little, a similar dress except it had a thin collar and more white and ruffles around the sides, thin straps that crossed over down the arm untill just above the elbow then a sleeve that is mainly black but with white ruffles at the tip, a blue butterfly at the middle of her Stomach and from the butterfly down to the end of the dress opened and had blue inside and stopped just a over her knees, she had blue sparky plat form heels that where 2 1/2 inch heels. She had natural sky blue bright eyes.

"Thanks you too!!"then light walked over and handed me a drink,

"Thanks WKD my favourite !"

"Really?"

"Yea" I looked at him and smiled then took a sip, after all four of us talking we finished our drinks and a slow song came on,

"Can I have this dance?" Light said holding his hand out for me, I smiled,

"You may" I took his hand and he led me to the dance floor where couples were slow dancing,

"Urmm...light?"

"Yes?"

"I don't know how to dance" you said sheepishly,

"Ill show you" he put my hands on his shoulders then his hands on my waist, and we started swaying to the song, after a while I leant on his shoulder and he held me, my face was burrowed into his neck,

"Grace?"he mumbled

"Yea" I said as I looked up at light,

"Follow me" so I took his hand we walked though loads of halls of the school until we got to a stair case, we walked up it and came to a door, Light opened it and I stopped outside it was the roof top and the sky was dark, but the city was lit up perfectly then I felt his hands snake around my waist from behind and pull me into a hug, I turned around in the hug to look up at light and I smiled,

"Thank you its beautiful" then I rested my head on his chest,

I felt his heart beat quicker, I blushed, I think I love him, I don't care if I've just met him,

"Your welcome grace"we stood like that for ages, until he said my name,

"Grace?"

"Yea light"I looked up at him,

"Will you be mine?"he said blushing,

'woah did he just ask me out!?', my eyes widened and his face became worried,

"I..Umm..i..y-y-es...I-I-I will light...."he smiled then lifted my chin up to meet his eyes,

"C-can i k-kiss you?...please?"

I nodded and he leaned down and pressed his lips to mine, I kissed back his lips where soft and moist my lips melted and it was so passionate, I put my arms around his neck and he put his arms around my waist pulling me closer, we pulled away needing air,

"I love you, Grace"

"I love you too light"I smiled and pecked him on the lips,

"We better be going they will be wondering where we are!"Said light with a slight laugh,

"Yeah" then he wrapped his arm around my waist and walked back to the dance, I couldn't stop smiling...
