(No ones POV)
It's 13th march 2003, its been almost two years since grace and light moved to japan and they love it there.
Grace has had constant contact with Blaze and Naomi. They never got the chance to meet lights parents because they where always working or school and it was just hard to find time but they have a date in the future to go to the Yagami household for dinner on 21st of March. Light has picked up the death note and hasn't tested it yet, he plans to test it when grace is out later that day...
(Lights POV)
'What is a death note?' 'Can it really kill?' 'Nahh its probally fake' I was pulled out of my thoughts by grace,
"Hey light are you alright?"
"Huh...um..wha...oh..yea im fine im just thinking...."
"Is there something troubling you?"
"Oh no, it's just school work"
"Oh, do you need any help?"
"Oh no, I'll just study while your out"
"You sure"
"Yea"
"Ok well I'm now going out anyways"
"Ok be safe love you"
"I will if you need me ring me, ok? love you" and she pecked me on the lips,
"I will" I waved as she walked out, I waited a few minuets before calmly walking to our study, I locked the door behind me, we have a lock incase I need to cram study and she knows not to disturb me, I sat at my desk and pulled out the death note I turned on the T.V and there was a kid napping....
"The man who indiscriminately killed and wounded six people yesterday in shinjuku is still barricaded inside this nursery school with eight hostages including children." Said the T.V reporter, "the metropolitan police have determined the mans identity he is kurou otoharada , 42 years old and unemployed...."
'Hmm...I'll write his name down its not like its gonna work anyway...' I write his name down its been 40 seconds 'hmmn....like I said it didn't work'
"Wait whats this there coming out they look unharmed....there's no sign of the captor....wait...what...Kurou....h-hes...dead...."
'Huh...w-what....d-d-dead?!?!?' 'No it must be a coincidence!'
(Graces POV)
'Hn...seeing as light needs to study, maybe I should see if he wants to grab a coffee...' I grab my phone out of my pocket and dial Rues number,
Ring....ring....ring...

Oooooo I wonder what he will say...... XD
I'm sorry this is SOOO short but I had an idea for the next chapter so hopefully it wont be as short next chapter but I hope you like this soo far and please give me suggestions for the story :-) I am really enjoying writing this!
